We The People Win: Authoritarians LoseFrom the profoundly-crafted Constitution, most know what “we the people” means.  Ever since it was a declaration on parchment the concept of American self-government has never suffered such a dislocating assault. From nihilism in the Streets to corruption in the FBI, DOJ and the CIA. Essentially, forced by the governing classes becoming, well, ungovernable. Confirming old observations that America can only be destroyed from within. Why the nation of freedom should suffer the same political furies that destroyed Venezuela is beyond this article. Instead, it reviews how ordinary citizens have reformed similar destructive experiments in authoritarian government. Over many centuries.   Obviously, promoters of big government can’t tolerate “No!”. Thus, the mania to obliterate the traditions of official opposition and limited government. Worth emphasizing, is that with every European experiment in authoritarianism, the governing classes granted themselves the ultimate privilege--state murder.

In assuming Biden’s win, the American Left is strident in calling for reprisals against Trump supporters. How far will vindictive retaliation go?

In assuming Biden’s win, the American Left is strident in calling for reprisals against Trump supporters. How far will vindictive retaliation go?   But this financial historian concludes that the reform movement will be successful in ending nihilism and restoring government by the people. Not overnight, but populism can soon change the overall direction.   America was started by folk fleeing authoritarianism in all its disquieting forms. And America has provided huge spaces or small towns for those enjoying basic freedoms to thrive and prosper. Now with Western states such as Colorado, Washington and Oregon run by control freaks, geographically there is nowhere to escape intrusion. Accompanied by unrelenting squandering of your money it is becoming unbearable.   And with no longer any way of running from the mob, “we the people” are taking a stand. For their families, their homes and their freedom.   At last, ordinary folk are seeing that they have to defend themselves from international and domestic political predators. Of interest, is that going into the November election there were pro-Trump rallies in cities outside America. Globalists should understand that uprisings are warming up in many countries. People craving reform.   And the driving force is the “usual”. In-your-face and in-your-wallet governments have become “too much”, inspiring popular uprisings. Even murderous police states have been reformed—as symbolized by the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989.

But led by Obama and the UN, American control freaks came back!

History instructs that authoritarian government rests upon two things. Without consent, authority has to be imposed 24/7. The other side of the equation is that complacency submits to force. And as with significant turns in financial markets, political markets can make relatively quick reversals. Depends upon how worked-up beleaguered folk can get.   In 1968, the “Prague Spring” was a benign popular uprising that was murderously quelled. Authoritarian monsters used tanks and machine guns. In 1989, the KGB and Stasi discussed putting down uprisings, but then East German Border Guards laid down their machine guns. That was the instant when tyrannical government lost the will to impose authority and the formerly oppressed cheered with relief. And went cross-border shopping.   Dictator Honecker had to quickly change the rules that enabled the state to murder Germans for going from one part of Germany to another.   And a series of uprisings brought down communist governments most everywhere.   But led by Obama and the UN, American control freaks came back!   Instead of using the fear of “capitalists” and the Gulag, fears promoted today have been about bad weather and another respiratory disease. Instead of the reformation continuing, global control freaks are pitching new narratives to destroy freedom. Perhaps a counter-reformation.   Fortunately, there is scholarly work on such uprisings back to Ancient Egypt, providing depth to the term “same old”.  And the mechanism is simple. Governing classes living and promising well as ordinary people suffer hardship.

Mob rule accomplishing a one-party state with strict controls based upon contrived fears

Iniquities force reform.   Uprisings were successful some 4,500 years ago when the Palace Guards laid down their spears. In 1989, East German Border Guards laid down their machine guns. In early November, this writer published “Swamp Guards Suddenly Laying Down Their Weapons” introducing today’s equivalent.   The point being, that the Palace Guards and Border Guards were not of the governing classes and their situation became untenable. And with today’s Swamp Guards, including the MSM, unless you are at the very top your position is precarious. And allegiance to failing statist propaganda outlets could become a losing habit. Critical journalism could be the next new idea.   It was historically profound when on the Constitutionally set election day, Republicans scored impressive gains down the ballot. And Trump won a landslide. Ironically, the dynamic surge of votes made Democrat cheating blatant. Super-lawyer, Sidney Powell revealed that voting machines were automatically converting some 3 percent of votes from Trump to Biden. Moreover, the real voting surge overwhelmed the algorithm that Dems assumed would steal their win.   Unprecedented, counting was halted and in an instant and with legit observers banned, truckloads of prepared ballots were rushed to key districts. Such criminal offenses are now thoroughly documented with the outrage becoming more widely understood. Supreme Court constitutionalists could soon appreciate today’s political bullies as seriously threatening Constitutional norms.   But SCOTUS may only be there for backup.   And the political alternatives are profound. Mob rule accomplishing a one-party state with strict controls based upon contrived fears. Or reform.

The key battlefield is the United States

In the early 1600s, England’s Star Chamber, under Archbishop Laud abused those who were not politically correct. Ears lopped off and faces branded.   Reform in England while difficult was more successful than in Europe. With the transforming event being celebrated as the “Glorious Revolution” of 1688. King James 2.0 was imposing his will upon parliament. Then threatened to bring in French troops.   Altogether from country folk to London businessmen, his abuses inspired a benign popular uprising. The King noticed the tide of opinion against his personal ambition and wisely abdicated. Seeking solace in authoritarian France. And in throwing off England’s last absolutist king, parliament prevailed and the economy advanced.   It was an exciting step towards enlightened liberalism that many countries enjoyed until around 1900. When today’s unrelenting belligerent control freaks began to corrupt the word to whatever you want to call it: Marxism, syndicalism or Twentieth Century Liberalism, the labels or banners mean the same. Intrusion, taxation and dollar depreciation.   In any country those who cherish freedom and prosperity are fascinated by the Left’s latest attempt at a coup. The point of this essay is that the global reform movement can win and global control freaks can lose. This was outlined in “American Spring” published on July 2, 2016.   The key battlefield is the United States. Founding father John Adams observed: “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people”. He could not have anticipated that authoritarian government would become a religion. But it has and is determined to trash the Constitution.

The established Left is still pushing its long-running lust for power, ardently supported by an uncritical media

Again, “Why?” is beyond this essay but there are leaders that are respecting their Oath of Office. Which according to the U.S. Federal Code, Section 3331 states: “….to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic;”.   Thankfully for the restoration of law, order and freedom, there are leaders with the honor and courage needed to stare down the madness of yet another coup. Of which election rigging is the latest atrocity.   In 2018, President Trump established an Executive Order (13848) outlining the need for the president to act in the instance of an “unusual and extraordinary threat to national security”. In the American Thinker, David Archibald reviewed that President Obama made two similar EOs that are still effective. Number 13694 dated April 1, 2015, and 13757 signed on December 28, 2016.   The established Left is still pushing its long-running lust for power, ardently supported by an uncritical media.   Enough to diminish the Reagan reforms.   But not now, authoritarianism is getting old and in its frenzy could be exhausting itself. Contrasting is that today’s patriotic uprising is new and just discovering its nerve. And eventually, its power.   Strategically, a three-pronged approach is inspired by the hostile takeover of the election.   Trump and a growing number of Republican leaders are rising to defend freedom as well as remedy the fraudulent election. Another reforming arm is the public’s mounting rejection of intrusive and costly bureaucracies.  Of course, the third and prevailing force will be the Constitution. Particularly the part about state legislators unambiguously having the final say on electing the president.   Once again, “we the people” and their Constitution can win. Regrettably, authoritarians will not lose gracefully.
