The Biden Administration is attempting to put President Trump in prison for at least 75 years as a result of these so-called charges, which Trump called the “boxes hoax.” Essentially a life sentence for the 76-year-old former President. It certainly feels like yet another desperate Deep State attempt to keep him from ever holding office again. It’s the weaponization of our justice system for a political vendetta. As our own ACLJ Senior Counsel Andy Ekonomou put it: “Why are you turning a civil case – an administrative case even – and ramping it up to a criminal case? To destroy a political opponent.”
