The outcome of this year’s election is honestly in the hands of the people. Regular, ‘rank and file’ citizens are no longer the ones rising as public servants in a Land of the Free. The “government of the people” exists in name only, as it has recently enabled so much corruption, destruction, and death upon the peoples of the world that it is hard to keep score.
It may not matter much as very few people keep score anymore. A corrupt, criminal-political cabal has seized control of the nation, and it is not even certain when it began. The common citizens simply, but naively trusted that all that was happening in our nation according to the Law of the Land. However, clever, corrupt and criminal people were able to deceive the people for quite a long time.
The proverbial handwriting is on the wall regarding the failure of the government of the people, by the people and for the people.There is too much at stake in the potential destruction of our national foundations for the people to not pay attention, or to pretend apathy, regarding the political sewers that have formed in nearly every state in the Union. Yet, the clever and sinister people also realize that a great deal is at stake regarding the future of the ones with their tight grip on political power and the wealth it brings.
If those “woke” in the West have eyes to see consequences, there will likely be little mercy upon those who have betrayed the sacred trust given them to lead in guiding the affairs of the people. Those who are without conscience could care less if their policies have brought harm to the people in so many ways.
There may be little hope for such people who seem to be high ranking “agents of evil.” But, there are many good people in America who are suffering in several ways. Is this something that the mainstream media can explain away? Are the politicians so full of themselves with their conversion of objective reality to an inversion of truth that they can no longer discern such reality?
Yet, as Lincoln has often been quoted as saying: “You can fool part of the people some of the time, you can fool some of the people all of the time, but you cannot fool all the people all of the time.” The mainstream media is attempting to prove that this truism is wrong, no matter where it came from originally. And, such truth about deception could very likely be a serious threat to the MSM. Their attempts at mental manipulation are in play in this year’s election, and it does seem that the media moguls maneuvering their minions would like nothing more than to eliminate the United States Constitution as it stands, despite the fact that they are the only substantial business institution protected by the Bill of Rights. The MSM has proven continuously to be a direct threat to the people seeking to maintain their own God-given rights written into the Constitution.
But, beyond the media manipulation, those ‘elected’ representatives of the people who are supposed to look after protecting the God-given rights of the people are the ones who create legislation subverting the rights of the people, using government agencies that wield force to attack, intimidate, and imprison ordinary citizens seeking to exercise their God-given rights protected by our Bill of Rights. The MSM will voice support for restriction and eradication of the rights of the people.
The concept of God-given rights no longer practically means what the Founders had held in high esteem in their day. In fact, if elected officials do not believe in God, how could anyone expect them to believe in God given rights? Christians and people of faith who miss this do so at their own peril.
Our nation was born through the sweat, tears and blood of good people who were willing to sacrifice themselves for the greater good and for future generations. Such a spirit is now required to retain the Republic. The many people of faith and people of conscience in this nation need to use their God-given gifts of discernment to not only use their eyes to see and their ears to hear, but to use their voices, hands and feet to exercise those God -given rights to the maximum before the Constitution is just a distant memory.
Ronald Reagan was a great American worth listening to, and he put it more precisely in a speech that made him famous:
We're at war with the most dangerous enemy that has ever faced mankind in his long climb from the swamp to the stars, and it's been said if we lose that war, and in so doing lose this way of freedom of ours, history will record with the greatest astonishment that those who had the most to lose did the least to prevent its happening. Well I think it's time we ask ourselves if we still know the freedoms that were intended for us by the Founding Fathers.
If the Constitution seems to be so easily forgotten, it can easily be violated by clever, corrupt and criminal people – especially at the highest levels of government. It has been violated by such people, who seem to view it as just some piece of paper relegated to “relic” status and no longer adhered to or obeyed by our “leaders” across the nation. At the very core of our ideals, the nation was founded upon the precept that:
Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed… constructed with its “foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness…
To honor the Constitution on this day is to honor the Judeo-Christian values and ideals and all the principles that were enshrined within the founding documents. It is wise in the midst of this turbulent election year for all Americans to pause and question what we have allowed to happen to those ideals that had once inflamed the founders to dream of a Land of the Free. If “We the People” are no longer the sovereign element in the Land, we are no longer a free people. Will a free people do so little to retain the Republic? The defense of the Constitution is at the heart of America’s existence. It is not too late for “We the People” to defend it – in word and deed.
