Admin hired political operative who directly communicates with Big Tech to take ‘misinfo’ offline

A Biden/Harris surrogate Rob Flaherty communicated directly with social media companies to get criticism of then-Democratic nominee Joe Biden taken offline ahead of the 2020 election. The administration then hired Flaherty to serve as White House Director of Digital Strategy, and he still communicates with Big Tech about censoring private citizens’ online content.

On Wednesday, independent journalist Matt Orfalea posted footage of the Zoom call to X. The call took place in mid-November 2020, about a week and a half after most media sources projected that the Biden/Harris ticket had won the presidential election.  -- More...
