Aid and abet policy releases enemies for the New Year
Christmas passed with non-Christians receiving unwarranted gifts at the expense of a Christian nation (despite President Obama's declaration otherwise, that America is no longer Christian). To wit, Afghani terror agents were released from Guantanamo Bay. Cuban spies responsible for the murder of four Brothers to the Rescue in the quest to save innocent lives were freed in exchange for an American free speech advocate.
More Gitmo detainees were shipped off to Uruguay, the haven for Nazis fleeing justice after the defeat of the Third Reich. And Obama is determined to leave the barn door open, emptying Gitmo of not just bad actors but vicious foes of America. This is not what Americans had on their Christmas list, but it is what the president wished for and decided would take for himself after the midterm election denied him two more years of running with scissors. Because Americans flatly rejected Obama's policies by a great majority - a fact that he still denies - he is reacting like every recalcitrant child who didn't get what they wanted Christmas morning; he's misbehaving to spite his parents until they catch up with him to administer punishment. The question is, will they take him out back or just give him 'timeout,' equal to doing nothing from which he will learn nothing except that his disobedience will have no consequences knowing his parents have no courage to bust his britches. Even Solomon taught that discipline is necessary, Proverbs 29:15 "The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame." And 29:17 "Correct thy son, and he shall give thee rest; yea, he shall give delight unto thy soul." For the moment, Congress is languishing in shame with Obama's unrestrained legal transgressions. To worsen matters, on prestigious college campuses students are watching the president's actions and following suit with protests; lie-ins and die-ins based on erroneous information. Ignorance now reigns supreme in what were once exalted halls of knowledge. Thankfully, one instance of students demanding that products from Soda Stream, an Israeli company, no longer be purchased because they oppress Palestinians (that must be the very same Palestinians they employ at their plant in the West Bank) has been denied.

It's time Congress got serious about protecting the powers of the People's representatives regardless on what side of the aisle they stand

This is a perfect example of how foolish, pretentious, and purposeful statements and actions by the president continually denigrating his own nation, and any nation with strong Western culture and Judeo-Christian values, is influencing empty-headed college students. Assuming that these wastrels are the up-and-coming leaders of America, our future is indeed bleak. Again I invoke Solomon: "Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he." (Proverbs 29:18) Vision is sorely lacking in what we call education today because teachers, from headstart to college, perceive nothing but inequity and tyranny in our free society while they actually promote those precise principles through their ignorance of our founding. The topper to all this disinformation, mis-education and plain propaganda comes in the president's "ending" the war in Afghanistan by walking away. Leaving the combat theatre amounts to simply abandoning the conflict to continue amongst the native population, fomenting yet more hatred toward America. The only purpose for involvement in that faraway country was to protect America against the terror threat of al Qaeda, and now its bedfellow Taliban, imbedded there. Recollections of the disorganized flight of U.S. envoys from Saigon scrambling to catch a ride on the last helicopters lifting off from the embassy at the close of the Viet Nam war came to mind when K.T. McFarland commented on Fox News: "I hope we won't have to shoot our way out of there." Each time the president acts or inserts his opinion regarding enemies of America it is to give them reprieve, repatriate them to fight us again, lessen or void economic sanctions and embargoes, and even go as far as lauding their efforts toward "peace" to the detriment of our allies. All of these actions put America at severe risk from the very people Obama is assisting to return home, build nuclear capacity, and undermine our and our allies' economies. How far does our own president have to go before it qualifies as aiding and abetting the enemy? There's a good argument to be made that he crossed that line a long time ago. Trespassing on Congress' authority by simply usurping it for his office using executive memoranda and orders calls for both democrats and republicans to constrain the president. "They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them." Yes, Solomon's wisdom once more shows us how to deal with lawbreakers, no matter if you're referring to spiritual or secular laws. Whether or not the president threatens to wield his veto pen to get his own way, there is no partisanship when it comes to preserving our Constitutional Republic. It's time Congress got serious about protecting the powers of the People's representatives regardless on what side of the aisle they stand.
