KAMLOOPS, BC: The Canadian Taxpayers Federation will be driving the National Debt Clock across Alberta next week with stops planned for Lethbridge, Calgary, Red Deer, Edmonton and Lloydminster, among other communities along the route.

The clock shows in real time the growth of the federal government's debt. Out of it's trailer it is 12 feet long, 5.5 feet high and weighs over 300lbs. However, the clock can be viewed inside it's trailer, thanks to custom built windows along the side of the trailer. Pictures and information on the debt clock can be found at Debtclocktour.ca. The tour started on February 22nd in Victoria, BC and will wrap up near the end of March in Halifax, NS. The tenatative schedule is as follows: Monday, February 28th: Lethbridge, AB Tuesday, March 1st: Calgary, AB Wednesday, March 2nd: Red Deer, AB Thursday, March 3rd: Edmonton, AB Friday, March 4th: Lloydminster, AB Stops will be made in many towns and cities along that route upon request of the local media outlets.
