Carson: I support Trump because I believe in science

Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson maintained Tuesday that he fully supports Donald Trump because, well, science. “I fully support him, but, you know, what I was saying is that I’m pragmatic,” Carson told Fox News. “You know, I’ve grown up in the world of science, where, you know, we do things based on evidence and on facts, and when you look at the pathway that the other people have, it only works through a brokered convention.” Indeed, the real-estate mogul is the only Republican presidential candidate with any mathematical path to securing the nomination outright.
