The three quotes above are tied together by the reality of life today in the United States, given modern technology. First, the founding generation understood thoroughly just how important, honest to God, free speech was for individual liberty. In 2024, the government of the United States recognizes that free speech is a major impediment to the goal of having their Democrat controlled totalitarian government.

So far, the United States Congress has done nothing to violate the First Amendment to the Constitution. However, we now know that the Executive Branch of the federal government has not exercised such restraints. With the mainstream media already in the pockets of the Marxist Democrat Party that happily does the bidding of this Marxist regime, there are no problems censoring the free speech of any and all political opponents.

However, since the turn of the century Americans have a new and dynamic way of communicating which has not yet been totally captured by political corruptocrats of the Marxist Democrat Party. Social media has been a new player in how information is spread far and wide. We are now learning that political corruptocrats in the Executive Branch of government and their toady corruptocrats in the Deep State started using social media to interfere with not only the 2020 election, but even the 2016 election.

This is a total violation of The Hatch Act , which prohibits federal employees from taking certain actions in regard to partisan political elections. Violation of the Hatch Act is grounds for dismissal from federal service. Using federal funds, whether direct payments or the use of federal paid man hours, is certainly a violation of the Hatch Act and probably many other federal laws and regulations. However, in 2024, we know the lawless Biden Administration has dismissed the Constitution and the United States Supreme Court to do exactly what they want to do. So, this criminal enterprise continues on in spite of the Constitution and the First Amendment, to conduct censorship operations through the social media companies using taxpayer’s dollars.

Now I will address the worst censorship of all. This ties in with the Thomas Jefferson quote regarding whether or not you fear your government. If you fear your government, you are acknowledging you see your government as tyrannical and must be feared. Your fear is justified.

This also demonstrates that you have been paying attention to what the current lawless government is doing to other Americans who the government views as enemies of the state or rather political opponents. Take comfort in your fears because you are not alone. You, me, and many others may be a minority, but we need to be a noisy minority.

However, if we censor ourselves in fear of our government, we are simply doing the job the government wants done, thus saving them the effort.

Whether you like it or not, whether you believe it or not, the United States federal government is riddled with corruption from top to bottom. The vast majority of federal elected officials and the executive branch civil servants are irredeemably corrupt from taking bribes or simply violating the Constitution to keep their jobs. That is just how pervasive the corruption is in the federal government. No matter what the reason, it is all corruption and must be ended.

To end it means first talking about it in the most direct way possible. Tap dancing around any point using polite language has not gotten the job done in the last 50 years, and it will not work any better today. Serious man-to-man, straight talk must happen if change is to be accomplished in the least damaging manner possible.

For the last 50 years, Americans have been “hugging the phantom of hope” to no avail. The first hope was Ronald Reagan, and he proved to be a mere bump in the road for the enemies of the people. A new hope, in the form of Donald Trump, came and he too was only a bump in the road for the enemies of the people. The Biden years have demonstrated just how fast a prosperous nation can be turned into a disaster. The enemies of the people are firmly in control and even a second Trump term will only delay the inevitable. Trump alone won’t stop America’s collapse into totalitarianism.
