The idea of “Contempt of Constitution” needs to be shared around with members of Congress

Contempt is often merited

Now we have seen the reaction of good Americans as they put a Contempt of Congress in motion in the case of Fast and Furious and Holder. Well and good, it is what should have been done, if not now then long ago.
But what about Supreme Court justice Roberts and his overt Contempt of Constitution? Is this just as important if not more important than the charge of Contempt of Congress? Somewhere in here I feel compelled to express my extreme contempt but I feel that my store of contempt is lacking in sufficient quantity to express contempt to its fullest and merited extent. Bumper stickers simply won’t do, it's much more serious than such a simple display of unhappiness. The idea of “Contempt of Constitution” needs to be shared around with members of Congress and to the extent that they realize that they are also in Contempt of Constitution for not doing what they were sent to Washington to do and actually gave their oath to do so: Uphold and Support the Constitution.

These days, we are seeing what a large percentage of Washington politician's oaths are really worth. With few exceptions, Congresspeople come away from a cushy job as our representative much richer than they were when appointed. Is the idea of personal gain the main reason they are willing to compromise their characters and sell out to unpatriotic ends? And now we just saw what it means to be a Supreme Compromiser where the Democrat thing was done by changing the Commerce Clause issue to a case of opening the doors to tax fraud. Is fraud the mainstay of this “representative” government we are paying for? We find fraud at all levels of government, from the bottom all the way up to the top. As I ponder the meaning of “representative,” I somehow resent that those Frauds are pretending to represent me. If I just “go along with it,” then I fall into the old axiomatic arena such as that of the driver of the escape car from a bank robbery. The axiom goes: “If I see a brother (fellow citizen) stumble (commit a crime) and do not utter it (mention it or bring it to his or the authorities’ attention), then I incur guilt on his behalf.” Today, this is called Accessory after the Fact. The longer society lets these felons “get away with it,” the more guilty we all become as accessories or enablers. Heaven knows the Obamaroids have plenty of enablers but we are not getting paid for it like they are, we are actually the ones who pay in the end. And the Frauds laugh at us all the way to the bank. We used to say during an emergency that "the time for action is now." Is it now too late to act? Is it too late to undo damage done? Will people look back and wonder if they should have done something, anything, rather than allow We the People to lose it all? The people on the left in Washington are doing things that are going to be damaging more and more in the future and they have been put in place in a way that they cannot be nullified, per built-in regulation. Again, I'm reminded of an old definition of "The Law of Diminishing Returns," as follows:
  1. You are in a game you are losing,
  2. You cannot change the rules of the game, and
  3. You cannot even get out of the game.
Are We the People going to allow the Left to force us to continue playing their game? Isn't it time to let them know that we want nothing to do with their game and they have to take the game and leave? Will it be too late when November rolls around? Time will tell if it is indeed too late but many experts now say that we are at the edge of the cliff and there is no turning back. The concept of "Contempt of Constitution" could be a starting point. It could cause those in Congress to feel the pressure, the intense focus of awareness by their constituents and maybe, just maybe they will reevaluate their motives and become more what they should be: True and faithful representatives of We the People of the United States.
