Elderly socialist crackpot, Bernie Sanders, to announce presidential candidacy Thursday
Oh, Democrats. You're making this so much fun. Your elderly, white, one-percenter, Hillary Clinton, is turning out to be an ethically-challenged electoral nightmare.
To make matters worse (or better) the only other people you've tried to portray as viable candidates are a man who presided over Baltimore's collapse in the 2000's and a fake Indian. To be blunt, the DNC "field" is a ridiculous mess ....and it's about to get even better. You have a new champion entering the race. He's yet another elderly white career politician, he's a socialist, and he hails from Vermont. As the Huffington Post reports, Bernie Sanders (crackpot-VT) is about to announce his already-doomed candidacy:
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) will launch a campaign seeking the Democratic nomination for president in 2016 on Thursday.

Sanders will be the first official challenger for the Democratic nomination to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who launched her campaign earlier this month. Sanders' decision was first reported by Vermont Public Radio, and confirmed by The Huffington Post. Sanders, who first entered the Senate in 2007, has criticized Clinton for being too soft on Wall Street and has doubted whether Clinton can address income inequality. Sanders' run will, no doubt, provide endless hours of comedy but that's probably not the best part. The best part is that the "Independent" is running as a Democrat. That means we'll all get to pop some popcorn and watch him babble incoherently as he attacks Hillary on the Dem debate stage. So, how does Sanders stack up against the competition? We know that Martin O'Malley has never polled above 3-4 points, and - with an impressive 5.6 - Sanders already has that beat. However, he still trails the political powerhouse that is Joe Biden. Here are the recent Real Clear Politics averages for the Democrats' totally un-electable "deep bench." On behalf of conservative writers everywhere, I'd like to take a moment to thank Bernie for entering the race. He has no chance of winning, he'll supply mountains of material, and yet he could still damage Hillary from the left. In short, he's our dream candidate. ....And he already has his own campaign theme songs!
