Ex-Secret Service agent explains what really happened when Hillary fell

I know that some will dismiss Gary Byrne and his insight as hopelessly partisan because he's written a book that slams Hillary. Fair enough to take that into account if you want, although you should consider the possibility that Byrne's motivation in writing the book was not necessarily partisan but rather based on genuine concern because he knows things the rest of us don't. Whatever. You should consider the insight he offers here about what was happening during that brief video in which Hillary collapsed getting into the van on 9/11. What he's sharing about Secret Service procedure and protocol seems easy enough to check, and if his telling is accurate, it offers a whole different insight than what you're getting from anyone else. I'm including his images in the excerpt because it's harder to get the gist of what he's saying without them

At the beginning of the video, Hillary is with a protective detail of Secret Service agents, as well as two female staffers. One staffer stands very close at her back and another is shoulder-to-shoulder and arm-in-arm with Mrs. Clinton to give her balance and prop her up. Mrs. Clinton leans against a “ballard,” the metal columns we use to stop incoming 5-ton vehicles, and “bicycle racks” (our nickname for the portable metal fences) to restrict pedestrian access to an area. As the van pulls up, she has a rigid wavering posture. She awkwardly leans on the ballard and stares straight ahead with her neck craned and extended up as her body is supported at the side and rear by her staffers. One agent gets the door, but no one moves to enter. The Secret Service doesn’t like to wait—standing still in the eyes of the Service is waiting for an attack to happen. But the staffer can’t move Mrs. Clinton. Anything that holds up a motorcade is extremely dangerous and anything that ties up a Secret Service agent’s hands from drawing their pistol or intervening a threat is a hazard. The female agent at the front of the van is scanning. She sees Mrs. Clinton odd behavior as well. The female agent begins backing up to the entrance of the van to shield both sight and anyone approaching—as is procedure. She keys her mic signaling that the van is about to move. The agent is to be commended for maintaining her blank expression. The agent who opened the door moves to take the place of the staffer and take Mrs. Clinton’s arm, but as they switch control, she nearly falls completely. The bald agent, who I believe is the shift leader, knows what is going on with Mrs. Clinton and - this oddity is very telling - crosses between her and her exit (the van door). As Mrs. Clinton jerks back and forth and her legs fold, the bald agent takes her right arm. The staffer also tries to also grab underneath Mrs. Clinton’s armpits to lift Mrs. Clinton. Close examination of Mrs. Clinton’s legs reveal her feet and legs have extended and are not holding her weight at all. The toes of her right foot drag and skid on the pavement. As they lift and push her forward, her legs don’t keep up and she falls forward again, yet they can’t lift her too high as to risk smacking her head. Any Officer or protection agent knows the risk of that. That is when all the other agents, especially this young jet-black haired one, convene to shield her from view completely. We call this “collapsing on” the protectee. They left in such a hurry to get her from the public view that her shoe—which she could not retain—was left behind.

Byrne goes on to say he doubts both the "overheating" and the pneumonia excuses based on the Secret Service's behavior that Hillary's health is an established and ongoing issue, and that there appear to be well-established protocols for how to deal with it. Now, let me also deal with this: I've noticed in the past 48 hours that much of the online discussion about Hillary's health includes admonishments from media types and even Republican political consultant types demanding that everyone else shut up about the Hillary health theories, because any such talk makes you sound crazy and only gives rise to wacked-out conspiracy theorists. In other words, the polite-company Republicans are telling the rest of us to shut up about what we can see with our own eyes because there's nothing to see here, and they've got this, and we should leave it to the "credible" experts to make sure Hillary never becomes president. Because they've done such a good job thus far of keeping her from the precipice of it. Truth: The only political force who has ever been able to stop Hillary is Barack Obama. Not because she is such a great candidate or politician. She's not. But because everyone else is afraid to attack her real weakness, which is that she is a corrupt and evil liar. I don't know what if anything is wrong with Hillary. But I trust Gary Byrne's judgment and experience a hell of a lot more than I trust some establishment consultant from the political class who tells me not to say what I think because trust him it would be bad. And what I am absolutely sure of is that Hillary and her people are lying about this. Because they lie about everything. It's not as if electing Hillary would be a perfectly fine idea if she was physically fit and up to the job. It would be a disastrous idea. In fact, it might even make things worse because then she would have the necessary energy to carry out her horrible agenda. So no, I would not be reassured at all if someone could convince me, "Oh, good, at least she's healthy." But the fact of the matter is they're lying to us about this just as they lie to us about everything. You can never trust them and you can never believe them, which is why she can never be allowed to be president. And if you reject what Gary Byrne is saying here just because you think he has an agenda, then I wonder if any knowledge-based facts would matter to you.
