Exposed: $57 Million government fraud

Here’s the scam: fake leases get submitted to Ontario Works. 

The government pays the tenant directly. 

Tenant skips out & the Landlord eats the loss.

The director says there are “checks and balances.” The General Manager defended it through a “social justice lens.”

One tenant had 5 prior evictions, walked away owing $30,000

One other townhouse had 8 different “tenants” claimed it as their address.

Hamilton has reported ZERO of these to police.

???? EXPOSED: $57 MILLION government fraud.

These are welfare overpayments, just in Hamilton, alone.

Nobody was fired, charged or named.

Through this program, only 5% of recipients in Hamilton ever exit to a job.

That means that nearly 95% of recipients, do not.

The average person on the program, stays on it for 3 years.

One private landlord brought this entire thing to light and to my attention. His name is Hafeez Hussein.

He’s doing what the Ford government won’t.

The government knows who these people are.

So why has no action been taken?
