Federal government must just focus on its core duties and responsibilities

No doubt you’ve heard the term “too big to fail” used in regard to various businesses over the last several decades. Too often the geniuses in Washington DC think that the American taxpayers “need” to bail out these businesses. 

Every “social benefit program” ever created by the federal government has turned into an unmitigated disaster

These businesses are sometimes saved but whether they are saved or not, the American taxpayers get screwed again either way. Good heavens, the corruptocrats in DC are so very good at throwing good money after bad.

Charity is not one of the authorities granted the federal government in the 10^th Amendment to the United States Constitution. The federal government should never have the authority to squander taxpayer money for charitable activities. The government should never be picking winners and losers by using taxpayer’s money.

Truer words were never spoken. Every “social benefit program” ever created by the federal government has turned into an unmitigated disaster. Even Social Security, which I have been paying into my whole life, and Medicare, which I have been paying into since its inception, have been bastardized to fund things for people who did not pay a dime into the program. Every other “socialist benefit program” is nothing more than a money laundering scheme to use taxpayer money for wealth distribution purposes.

I will take an even harsher view than Henry Hazlitt and President John Kennedy. When the government tries to do everything, it does everything badly while at the same time stealing more of our liberty. The best example of this is when the federal government stole control of education from local citizens in an attempt to make “a one size fits all education system.” The result was that the world’s number one education system turned into the world’s 29^th best education system. The “War on Drugs” was a complete failure until President Trump started blowing up drug boats. The “War on Poverty” has resulted in more poverty than ever. “The Affordable Care Act” (aka ObamaCare) did nothing but increase the cost of medical care and provided nearly unlimited opportunities for fraud. None of these activities are authorized as federal government responsibilities in the 10^th Amendment to the United States Constitution. These are responsibilities of the states or the people.

Since 2025 when President Trump was inaugurated for his second term, it has become exceedingly obvious just how catastrophic the consequences are because the federal government has its fingers in too many social program pies. The federal government is far too big and is failing because it is overextended having usurped too many functions of the states and the people. Worse yet, the socialist/communist type programs have formed a foundation for the current communist efforts to “fundamentally change America” and destroy the United States Constitution.

The federal government must just focus on the core duties and responsibilities as defined in the United States Constitution PERIOD.
