God Is On Our Side

Time after time, throughout history, both sides of a conflict try to claim that God is on their side. That is simply an ignorant and arrogant statement to make. Clearly that is an impossible claim to make. However, let me back up on that just a bit. There is one group of people in the western world who can claim that God is on their side, and they are the Jews. Biblical history demonstrates that the Jews are God’s chosen people, and a claim that God is on their side is a safe assumption until God declares otherwise.

The real issue is not IF God is on our side. The real issue is ARE WE on God’s side?

But for the rest of us, we’re not so lucky. The real issue is not IF God is on our side. The real issue is ARE WE on God’s side? America has just celebrated the 248^th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. For about 200 years, America was pretty clearly on God’s side and doing God’s work to better the whole world. During those 200 years, America was clearly a God loving, God fearing, Christian nation behaving how God expected and thereby blessed by God. However, in the last 50 years, America has gone astray, and to a great extent abandoned God and the principles of His Ten Commandments.

In 1950, about 75% of Americans families were attending regular church services. In 2024, only about 33% of Americans attend regular church services. Is there any way to spin that to suggest America has not abandoned God? When the selfish behaviors exhibited in modern-day Above-Fold America are examined against the Ten Commandments, can there be any doubt that America has abandoned God? God created government, but when government tries to eliminate God from the public square, does that not validate that government is not on God’s side?

Since 2009, when President Barack Obama publicly declared “that America is not a Christian nation,” it seems to me this was about the time God withdrew His blessings on America and considerable chaos and misery has reigned ever since. Biblical history demonstrates over and over again that when a people turns away from God bad things happen. When America was a godly nation, she was blessed for more than 200 years. Now that the agents of Satan have created a level of divisiveness among Americans, unseen in American history, the melting pot that once was the American culture has been kicked over.

E Pluribus Unum, out of many one. This simple statement is what made America great for 200 years. This must be the standard, if America is to recover her greatness. The hate culture that has been planted by the Marxists in America has been the downfall of America. America has, by design, been subdivided into as many “tribes” as possible and hate generated to maintain as high a level of chaos and discontent as possible. 

If you are an American citizen, you are an American…PERIOD!

These creators of chaos don’t want Americans to simply be Americans. It was all exacerbated when the term African-American was created out of thin air to subdivide Black people in America. There is no such thing as an African-American, particularly since damn few American Black people have ever been to Africa. Elon Musk is the only high profile American that can be called an African-American, and he is a White man who was actually born in Africa. If you are an American citizen, you are an American…PERIOD!

Something dash American is a hateful illusion perpetrated on us by enemies who want to destroy America. So climb out of that trap and insist on being just a plain old AMERICAN.

If America can throw off the yoke divisiveness created by the America haters and re-adopt the Godly Principles of the Ten Commandment we can start to return to God’s graces. However, this requires reestablishing a personal relationship with God by attending church again on a regular basis. This is what it will take to prove to God that we are on His side.

Is God on our side? Not right now, because we are not on God’s side.
