Gordie Howe, "Mr. Hockey" Dies at 88

(WBEN/WGR) - Hockey legend Gordie Howe passed away Friday morning at the age of 88. He died surrounded by family at his son Murray's house in Ohio, just before 8 a.m. this morning. Murray Howe confirmed the death Friday, texting to The Associated Press: "Mr Hockey left peacefully, beautifully, and w no regrets." Howe entered the NHL with the Red Wings at the age of 18.
