Hillary: ' I don't believe I ever have... I don't believe I ever will' lie to the American people

Generally, I believe people want to believe their elected officials are telling them the truth. This is especially true if the person in question is someone you supported. There's an inherent desire to feel that your faith was not misplaced. As a result, voters - particularly those of the same party as the candidate in question - are overly willing to forgive half-truths, 'fudging,' and even outright lies.

So when a person with a multi-decade political career has some of the worst "is she trustworthy" poll numbers in history, it really says something. I speak, obviously, of Hillary Clinton. Conservatives know she's a liar, moderates know she's a liar, independents know she's a liar, and even most of the sad people who form the base of her own party admit that she's an outright liar. ...About the only person who won't admit that Hillary's a liar is Hillary herself. Here she is with CBS' Scott Pelley, lying about her many, many, many lies:

In case you can't see the video, Hillary claims “Well, I will tell you, I have tried in every way I know how, literally from my years as a young lawyer, all the way through my time as secretary of state to level with the American people." Pelley presses her asking if she's "always told the truth" to the American people. Her answer is utterly hilarious. She actually says:

“I’ve have always tried to, always, always. ...You know, you’re asking me to say, ‘Have I ever?’ I don’t believe I ever have… I don’t believe I ever will. I’m going to do the best I can to level with the American people.”

Look, I've been paying attention to the Clintons for at least 25 years. I know the truth about Hillary. This is a magnificent woman who was "named after Sir Edmund Hillary." She's against gay marriage, she endured "sniper fire in Bosnia," she's a master of cattle futures, she correctly blamed a "YouTube video" for the Benghazi disaster, she's for gay marriage, and she willingly turned over a totally legitimate email server which held no classified data. She's no liar. Anyone suggesting otherwise should be ashamed of themselves. This woman is above reproach.
