I Regret What Black Stepfathers Are Going Through

I just finished watching a video by a dedicated former stepfather denied access to a beloved stepson after divorce:

As a 'safety creator' who steers clear of hazards, I take his story to heart. Relationships, along with the traditional family unit, have gone downhill the more we let outside ideas infect our community. Leftists methodically poisoned the well of Black relationships.

By the mid-nineties into the first decade of the 21st century, I witnessed how Black men and women were pitted against each other. I never enlisted in this 'battle of the sexes'.

'Masculinized' women are told by the left not to respect men as heads of households. They're reduced to beasts of burden to be harangued and extracted from until a new male support system is plugged in.

Needless to say that is not an appealing picture.

I support our traditional family unit. The sad part is the politburo burrowed into our institutions doesn't support it.

At all.

'Recovering grouches' like myself take note of this former stepfather's plight and avoid the relationship trap he fell into.

I watched our courtship dynamics get dismantled decades ago. It's happening elsewhere too. Countercultural movements have arisen like the online 'Manosphere' community, 'MGTOW': 'men going their own way', 'tradwives' or traditional wives and 'passport bros' seeking mates overseas.

Whether traditional relationships and families can be reinstated remains to be seen. Safety in this context means men and women respecting each other's unique roles.

Time will tell.

I really regret what that Black stepfather is going through.

His cautionary tale needs to be heard.
