Jimmy Kimmel Live Is Now Jimmy Kimmel Gone

“Jimmy Kimmel Live” went from not being funny to not being entertaining to painfully nauseating, and finally to just plain gone. Kimmel has been punishing late-night insomniacs since 2004, simply by taking up airtime that could have been used for more creative television.

Kimmel went on to take more imbecilic pot shots at Trump

Kimmel has all the charm of a coiled snake. He was creepily arrogant and radiated a smile that transformed over time from strangely weird to ghoulishly fiendish. It was evident for quite some time that Kimmel’s greatest fan was Jimmy Kimmel. He saw himself as untouchable, and as his political views raced further and further to the left, they became more cutting, abrasive, and hateful.

On Monday, Kimmel was at it again, trying to change reality with lies using his diminishing late-night platform. An intense hater of Trump and everything MAGA, that hatred also encompassed Charlie Kirk. So, Kimmel couldn’t resist trying to tie Kirk’s murder to MAGA. The fact that it was a total fabrication didn’t matter to Kimmel. To him, this was just another opportunity to wrongly implicate Trump voters, which by association also denigrated Kirk’s message.

During his monologue, the smirking Kimmel said:

“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it.”

When he made those statements, Kimmel knew that he was lying. It’s a common ploy of Democrats and those on the left to deny the truth and project blame onto conservatives. He knew that, despite all the facts proving his statement was false, verbalizing the deception would be picked up by the radical left as something to cling to, a pattern they follow with many absurd beliefs.

Kimmel went on to take more imbecilic pot shots at Trump, riding with the theory that if you throw enough nonsense at the wall, some of it will stick.

After FBI officials and Governor Spencer Cox cited that the alleged murderer, Tyler Robinson, had become increasingly radicalized in recent years, and was involved in a relationship with a transgender, Kimmel tried mocking Trump again. Apparently, Trump's calling for flags to be flown at half-staff irritated the cynical Kimmel, as did Trump’s mentioning in response to a question the construction of a ballroom.

“This is not how an adult grieves the murder of somebody he called a friend. This is how a 4-year-old mourns a goldfish, OK?”

Mercifully, yesterday, it was announced that Kimmel’s show was placed on indefinite leave. His blatant attempt to manipulate the truth about Charlie’s murder finally caught the attention of media officials.

Nexstar Media Group, a major broadcast company and primary ABC affiliate, confirmed it would “preempt” Kimmel’s program following his remarks. In a press release, they stated.

“The company’s owned and partner television stations affiliated with the ABC Television Network will preempt ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ for the foreseeable future, beginning with tonight’s show. Nexstar strongly objects to recent comments made by Mr. Kimmel concerning the killing of Charlie Kirk and will replace the show with other programming in its ABC-affiliated markets.”

Andrew Alford, president of Nexstar’s broadcasting division, stated that Kimmel’s comments regarding Mr. Kirk's death are offensive and insensitive during a crucial time in our national political discourse.

“We do not believe they reflect the spectrum of opinions, views, or values of the local communities in which we are located. Continuing to give Mr. Kimmel a broadcast platform in the communities we serve is simply not in the public interest at the current time, and we have made the difficult decision to preempt his show in an effort to let cooler heads prevail as we move toward the resumption of respectful, constructive dialogue.”

AMEN!

However, Kimmel’s obnoxious denial of the truth may have cost him and Disney/ABC more than an indefinite hiatus. Monday’s monologue was also observed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Chairman Brendan Carr indicated that the remarks may lead to more rigorous punishment.

Carr was interviewed by conservative podcaster Benny Johnson, and he was obviously upset with what he heard. Carr described the comedian’s monologue as “some of the sickest conduct possible,” and hinted at possible FCC involvement.

“Any license granted by us at the FCC comes with an obligation to operate in the public interest.”

Carr then explained that federal regulations governing licensed TV stations prohibit “news distortion.”

This was a long time coming. Kimmel and Colbert’s shows, along with “The View,” are despicable examples of televised ignorance

“Frankly, when you see stuff like this, I mean, look, we can do this the easy way or the hard way. These companies can find ways to change conduct and take action, frankly on Kimmel, or, you know, there’s going to be additional work for the FCC ahead.”

Carr added that a public apology from Kimmel would be “a very reasonable, minimal step” for the host, ABC, and parent company Disney to take.

“There are calls for Kimmel to be fired, I think, you know, you could certainly see a path forward for a suspension over this. And, again, you know, the FCC is going to have remedies that we could look at. This is a very, very serious issue right now for Disney.”

“Jimmy Kimmel Live” isn’t the first late-night host and show to be pulled following political controversy. Stephen Colbert’s “The Late Show,” another pitiful example of misguided leftist propaganda, was given its walking papers in July.

Unfortunately, the show was allowed to continue until the spring of next year.

CBS has stated that the decision to cancel the show was based on financial reasons, as it was reportedly losing between $40 and $50 million per year. However, some on the left believe that the cancellation was also influenced by Paramount’s $16 million settlement with President Donald Trump over a "60 Minutes" interview, which they view as a "big fat bribe."

Fingers crossed that Kimmel is gone for good. Late-night shows with Johnny Carson and later with Jay Leno, as well as David Letterman, were entertaining and not political propaganda vehicles for smarmy narcissistic fascists.

This was a long time coming. Kimmel and Colbert’s shows, along with “The View,” are despicable examples of televised ignorance. Some would say that they have outlived their usefulness, and to those people I would say that raw hatred and division are never useful.

This development is better late than never; hopefully, the simmering cauldron of hate known as “The View” is also on the endangered species list.
