John Conyers hospitalized 'due to stress'

According to a whole swath of sources, John Conyers - Icon and harasser - has been hospitalized for "a stress-related illness." The news first broke via WDIV's "ClickonDetroit" website where Detroit area political consultant Sam Riddle was quoted as saying:

"Media Assault"

"I just spoke with Monica Conyers on the phone and we want you to know that the congressman is resting comfortably in an area hospital. He's doing OK, as well as he can be expected for a gentleman that's approaching 90 years of age. The congressman's health is not what it should be and lot of that is directly attributable to this media assault."

Riddle claims the stress is due to "media assault." If you don't know who Sam Riddle is, he's the former Detroit city hall "insider and confidant" who served a 37 month prison sentence after being caught taking "sludge hauling" bribes with ...wait for it... Monica Conyers. Monica Conyers served 27 months as a penalty stemming from the same crime. Allegedly, none of this was noticed by totally-upright-and-not-at-all-corrupt congressional "icon" John Conyers, who busied himself screaming about Bush administration ethics violations well into the Obama years. If that's confusing, you should just do what Detroit has done for decades and ignore it. John Conyers has always been - and apparently remains - above the law. We wish John Conyers nothing but a speedy recovery.
