John Moore - how wrong you are　

The salient features of John Moore's National Post article The bible loses again" in reference to the apparent overturning of Proposition 8 in California are arrogance, ignorance and a certain hollowness.

His foolish talk is in stark contrast to the book of wisdom he mocks, which is nothing less than the eternal word of God. Guess what, Mr. Moore? God never loses and His Word will endure forever. Mr. Moore is yet another example of a self-professed atheist attacking the Christian faith and the ruling of California judge Vaughn Walker in overturning the ban on gay marriage is yet another example of a corrupt judge willfully dismissing the authority of Holy scripture. Every generation has its John Moores. They come and go, like the grass. The bible has stood the test of time. Mr. Moore would do very well to heed the apostle Paul's words of truth in his epistle to the Galatians. "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows". I fret not over Mr. Moores opinions nor do I doubt the inevitable harvest of his words. Gerald Hall Parksville, B.C.
