The human wreckage resulting from turnstile justice, found in the approaching denouement of DA George Gascón, is simply stultifying and are just the facts and not fiction.

George Gascón’s arrival in LA as the new DA meant no more juvenile trials in adult court, regardless of the crime or the number of victims.

Growing numbers of flash mob retail thieves

For convicted murderers, that meant an end to life sentences without parole especially if the defendants were black or Hispanic. For low-level offenders, like the proverbial flash mobs who strip stores to their bare bones, that meant no prosecution at all, just bail resulting in defendants who never show up for court and then being arrested as warrant scofflaws who are again bailed out to again disappear. The revolving doors and the turnstiles in Los Angeles County for criminals require a constant bath in WD-40 or heavy industrial lubricants or they would soon deliquesce

According to state data obtained by KQED, the NPR and PBS member station for northern California, only about 15% of theft cases resulted in an arrest in 2013, the year before Proposition 47* passed. In 2022, under DA George Gascón, that number had dropped to 6.6%. That means in more than 90% of reported cases of theft, no one is ever arrested and those who finally blunder into the wide open arms of the police are promptly let go after being bailed out.

As part of the Organized Retail Theft Vertical Prosecution Grant Program, 13 district attorney offices were to receive or received a $2 million grant to help prosecute shoplifters and the growing numbers of flash mob** retail thieves.

The Orange County district attorney is among the offices slated to receive the funding. However, a California state-issued press release said that DA George Gascón’s office, in a move totally unsurprising today, failed to apply for the grant.

George, you see, will forgive those who rob, cheat, steal and murder but never give a break to those folks in the blue serge serving and protecting us while walking that lonely, forlorn and dangerous beat. However, Gascón’s leniency for those committing incredibly violent crimes has resulted in a tsunami of outrage, which Gascón is deaf to, from the people and families who have lost loved ones to this wave of inchoate violence.

However, the one group DA Gascón vowed to take a much harder line on and has pledged to investigate completely and thoroughly without an action or activity allowed to slip through the fine wire mesh he has constructed to weigh and segregate police activities. These will be pursued far more intensely than the simple acts of vicious murderers and rape artists, merely because the police officers were involved in fatal shootings. These benighted cops, George believes, have been given way too much leeway and paid way too much deference over the years, regardless of the initial investigational findings of self defense or in the protection of innocent citizens from predation.

Boudin, the son of violent SDS Weather Underground radicals David Gilbert and Kathy Boudin whose 1981 robbery in New York which left two police officers and a security guard dead and were sentenced to decades in prison, adopted nearly identical liberal policies in San Francisco as district attorney.

Boudin was recalled when even the liberal government and citizens of that city by the sea grew weary of his coddling the very criminals robbing, raping and killing them at the same time he allowed vast numbers of homeless to run riot as they covered the sidewalks with feces, used needles and other highly dangerous jetsam. Economically, this blight of crime and vast tent cities have resulted, by December 2023, in a loss of 36% of the available retail space in San Francisco. More companies are fleeing every month.

What this utterly careless breed of far left liberal DAs refuse to countenance or show any modicum of concern and compassion for are the vast numbers of victims who have either been killed or who have been damaged for life by the predations of these bloodthirsty hoodlums whom they have allowed to run roughshod over the lives and industry of honest law abiding and tax paying folk, just because a certain stripe of liberal DA places criminals on a pedestal.

When will the frustrated American electorate finally realize that the liberal coddling of the increasingly violent criminal element, which is inimical to those of us who abide by the rule of law, provides one leg of the three legged Democrat stool with the other two supporting legs being the voting dead and illegal aliens?
