Minnesota students hold walk-out protest over city’s plan to disband police department

Minnesota students walked out of class on Tuesday to protest a city council’s decision to disband the town’s police department. Police believe about 1,300 students from the Forest Lake High School, Century and Southwest junior high schools walked out of class in a show of support for the police after the Forest Lake City Council voted 3 to 2 on Monday to disband the Forest Lake Police Department, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press. -- More..
