Morlocks and Eloi

In 1960 MGM released the movie The Time Machine, based on the H.G. Wells 1895 science fiction novel of the same name. The film depicts H. George Wells, played by Rod Taylor, as a scientist who has developed the ability to travel through time. The film depicts a series of events the real Wells would have no knowledge of, but serves the film well. George Wells stops in London during World War I, World War II, and as a catastrophic nuclear holocaust begins. George Wells’ trip culminates with his landing in what appears to be an idyllic utopian land of the Eloi, where people were calm, happy, well fed, and oblivious to reality.

As I look at America in 2023, I would characterize a large portion of the American population and voters just as oblivious to reality as the fictitious Eloi of the Wells’ novel. They buy their $7 cup of coffee each morning on their way to work. They play video games or watch mindless television in the evening and sports all weekend. They enjoy plenty of choices at the grocery stores, a cool home in the summer, warm home in the winter, a cell phone, and a reliable vehicle. So far, their life is comfortable, so why be concerned about what the government is doing? After all, it isn’t impacting them that much. Like the Eloi, they are oblivious to the liberties they are losing, oblivious to the fact their government is blatantly lying to them, and that America is becoming a police state.

Today the corrupt politicians, the Marxist Democrat Party, the moneyed globalist oligarchs, and their ruling class minions are the Morlocks of our time

Ultimately, the character George Wells discovers the reality of the Eloi utopia; when the whistle blows the Eloi are programed to march to their doomed to die calling in the deep dark state of the Morlocks. When the Morlocks determine they have enough new Eloi bodies in their domain, they turn off the whistle and those in the deep dark state are gone forever and the others simply go back to their comfortable lives. The Eloi are oblivious to the reality that the whistle will blow again and more of them will disappear.

Today the corrupt politicians, the Marxist Democrat Party, the moneyed globalist oligarchs, and their ruling class minions are the Morlocks of our time. For the last 50 years, the Marxist American education system have been turning out Eloi like people lacking the skills to reason or think critically. Like the Eloi, they have been programed to do as they are told. Modern college graduates have been programed to hate America, hate the American free enterprise system, and rely on government. The spirit of individuality and self-reliance has been beat out of them. However, they have been well trained to identify the victim class they belong to so they can claim what they think they are entitled to from other Americans.

This is the psychopathic version of America that has been handed down to us by the Marxist Democrat administrations of Joe Biden, Barrack Obama and their complicit corrupt minions of the political uniparty made up of criminal career professional politicians in Washington D.C. Smaller versions of this are happening in the state houses of the Marxist Democrat controlled states. These are modern day Morlocks who intend to control the life and death of We the People, who are their Eloi and not part of the ruling class. They have said they will own everything, and like the Eloi, We the People will get only what we need to survive and remain calm until they come for us.

Who will be our George Wells, and like in the movie, throw a monkey wrench into the world domination plans of our Morlocks?
