New Lerner emails surface: Calls Republicans 'crazies' and 'a**holes'

If you're going to destroy your emails in an obvious effort to keep Congress away from your incriminating conversations, you'd better be really, really, thorough. If you're not, things will just keep leaking out, in dribs and drabs. Eventually, if you don't scrub absolutely everything, people will learn what a horrible human being you truly are.

That's the lesson for Lois Lerner, who wrote a batch of once "lost" emails ...which were obtained and released by the House Ways and Means Committee yesterday. They paint a picture of an angry, nasty, vindictive, and deeply-biased woman who absolutely hates conservatives. Her unnamed confidant mocked the conservatives in what they called the "whacko wing" of the GOP, claiming they believe that: "The US is through; too many foreigners sucking at the teat; time to hunker down, buy ammo and food, and prepare for the end. The right wing radio shows are scary to listen to." Lerner replied: "Great. Maybe we are through if there are that many assholes."

The other person replied: "And I'm talking about the hosts of the shows. The callers are rabid." Lerner again replied: "So we don't have to worry about alien terrorists. It's our own crazies that will take us down." First of all, I would have sworn that calling people "aliens" was not PC, and was therefore frowned-upon by the enlightened minds of the tolerant left. Second, yes. She just said that the conservative grass roots - who she was directing her agency to target - were "crazies" akin to foreign terrorists. So, once again, we see that there was not a smidgen of corruption within the hallowed halls of the impartial, unbiased, IRS. However, it doesn't end there. Those are the emails grabbing the headlines, but the best part of the entire exchange may be the passage that precedes it. In it, Lerner talks about visiting the town of Hempstead while in Great Britain. As she says, it's an Edwardian village, about 25 miles North of London. Unfortunately, Lerner is aghast that the commoners have been allowed to take it over and she despises their constant demands for equality.

"Went to Hempstead - an Edwardian English village, full of beautiful huge houses - which have been ruined by letting the hoi poloi live there! These people have ruined everything with their equality push!"

That darn equality! It screws everything up! If only there was some kind of federal body that could make sure equality is controlled via taxation! Congratulations to Ms. Lerner for confirming everything we suspected about her, and for justifying the paranoia of the right-wing "crazies" she apparently hates so, so, much.
