Immigration is a global issue. But the burden of poor planning should not fall on the same communities that have been under-resourced for generations.
Black Americans deserve stable neighborhoods. They deserve fully funded schools. They deserve respect in their own communities. And they deserve the right to talk about the pressures placed on them without being shamed or silenced. Nobody talks about the damage that’s been done to Black Americans. But we will.
