Jennifer Granholm is the former Governor of Michigan who's most often thought of as the worst in the state's history. She's also the former host of CurrrentTV's "The War Room," a former crazed speaker at the Democrat National Convention, and a former green energy guru. She's a whole lot of "former" things. Currently, she's a raving hack who will say virtually anything if it will get the attention of her friend and ally Barack Obama.
You see, her name has been mentioned for every job from Energy Secretary to Supreme Court Justice, but it's never panned out. This probably has something to do with the fact that she's never shown herself to be even remotely competent. Maybe she thinks that - if she just yells loudly enough - she can resurrect the ill-founded rumor that she's somehow worth employing.
How else can you explain her laughable Sunday appearance on ABC's This Week?
"To me," Granholm babbled. "It is mind blowing this week, that we see leaders of our most biggest global adversaries -Iran, Syria - acting more rationally than the House Tea Party Republicans. That they are willing to take the whole country - the whole economy - down for an issue they lost in the election."
Even George Stephanopolis wasn't buying this ridiculous line of malarkey. He pointed out that the flipside of this argument is that if the President is willing to talk to the Iranians, why won't he talk to Republicans in the House? Granholm wasn't hearing it. She continued her tirade, yammering on about how the President is desperate to negotiate - as is Harry Reid - but those nasty Republicans just won't play ball.
Then, Bill Kristol lowered the boom:
"Suddenly," he said. "This great approval of the foreign minister of Iran and Syria. I think you guys really want to rethink before praising a guy who just sat here and lied to George about whether that have a nuclear weapons program or not, that is not like “oh gee, they’re so wonderful - "
Granholm cut him off claiming that "The point is, people are willing to sit down and be rationale and people we have been averse to for long periods of times and you’ve got House Republicans who won’t act rationally."
So, in the mind of deranged leftists like Granholm, the Syrian government - which has gassed its own innocent civilians - and the Iranian government - which boasts a list of human rights abuses and terrorism sponsorship that span decades - are both more "rational" than the GOP. That's good to know.
"Do you really want to take that position?" Kristol shot back. "That the Iranian Republican Guard is more rational than the House Republicans?"
Yes, Bill. She really does. This is the mentality of the modern Democrat mainstream.

This is not the first time Granholm has embarrassed herself on national TV. In addition to that horrible speech at the Dem's convention, there was her famous "Michigan is going to be blown away" slogan, and of course, each and every one of her State of the State addresses. However, none of those blunders can hold a candle to this absolutely astonishing piece of file footage, which really sums up her singular brilliance.
