Oh, When Will You Ever Learn?

The overriding question asked in the lyrics of Pete Seeger’s song “Where have all the flowers gone?” was “Oh, when will you ever learn?”

As I watched President Trump’s inauguration speech, I was saddened by the fact that the Democrats present were not even gracious enough to politely applaud his speech, which would have signalled a willingness to try to work with the incoming President to better America. 

Instead, their non-response was a signal that it would be business as usual in spite of the sound beating the Democrats took on November 5, 2024.

The silence by the socialist Democrats and other uniparty members was a silent shot across the bow of the new administration that there would be rough seas ahead. The socialist Democrats and the Deep State are terrified the Trump 2.0 will, in fact, drain the swamp to the greatest extent possible. Trump version 1.0 did get fooled, and Trump’s trust was violated on a massive scale. In 2025, the new Trump administration has come loaded for the Deep State bears, alligators, and all the other nasty swamp dwelling creatures.

Socialist Democrats, when will you ever learn? With Obama’s third socialist-infused term as President, so poorly executed by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, Americans have been exposed to life under socialist tyranny, and they didn’t like it, not one damn bit. As is often the case, when tyrants gain a little bit of control, they over reach and expose the ugly side of the tripe they are trying to sell. Unlike Venezuela and Cuba, once in control in America, the 2^nd Amendment to the United States Constitution prevented a hostile takeover as was done by those third world country’s tyrants.

Americans’ common sense has been reactivated, and the human-caused climate change hoax is being recognized by more and more people. The silliness of the green new deal has been exposed as a not-ready-for-primetime activation and would have failed already had it not been for massive government subsidies and stupid government regulations. The American people are tired of their tax dollars being spent on pie-in-the-sky technology, particularly using barrowed money our grandchildren will have to pay back.

Socialist Democrats and uniparty haters of Trump, when will you ever learn that hate is a failed way to try to do business? For at least nine years you have hated Donald Trump, and that strategy has failed miserably.

The hate you are using is far more damaging to you than it is to anyone else. America was built on love. Love of country. Love of fellow citizens. Love for being able to reach for the American dream. Love for those who have been able to achieve the American dream. America was built on the love of the opportunity for nearly unlimited success. Lovers build. Haters destroy.
