Open Letter to Fellow Christians

My name is Andrew Rondeau, a practicing Catholic member of the Sacred Heart Parish in Gibbons, Alberta. As you know we are now faced with a new federal election and quite probably it will immediately be followed by a provincial election.

All the leaders of mainstream Federal or Provincial parties have made it quite clear that they have no desire to reopen the debate on the legal status of the millions of our children in the womb. They are content to leave those innocent lives without individual human rights….They are influenced by the ultra-secular interests who actively lobby and influence our Political Parties in the unrelenting pursuit of their agenda. These Party Leaders have swallowed the idea hook, line and sinker, that they need the ultra secular votes. This is patently untrue; as this tiny minority vote is already diluted among the parties to which they already belong. What the Party Leaders really need to worry about is what would happen to them if they lost all the Christian votes. We CHRISTIANS have an obligation to act and effectively show all politicians that Christians in solidarity are a force to be reckoned with. Our beliefs and concerns expressed in petitions to our governing leaders have thus far been ignored. HOWEVER in this election, in four ridings, let me suggest we can receive their attention, by way of a personal message from Christians they cannot ignore… If the Catholics, Christian and other pro-life voters in the respective ridings of Mr. Harper… Ignatieff… Duceppe… and Layton who voted for them in 2008 were to vote for them with a spoiled ballot in this 2012 election, {a spoiled ballot is noted but does not count} the leaders of the Liberal and the NDP parties based on the 2008 votes would be defeated in their ridings. Mr. Harper would still carry his riding and so would Mr. Duceppe. This would be a resounding cry for Mr. Harper in 2012 the year of John Paul II's beatification to reopen a public debate on the human rights for our children in the womb. The message sent would be that in Canada, Canadian leaders should learn to uphold the Culture of Life, and they should learn that many Canadians are fed up and angry at their leadership’s version of Canadian Human Rights. Canadian leaders must learn that traditional Canadian honour has no room for the human sacrifice of over 2,000,000 murdered Canadian children in the womb. That Canadian honour has no room in it for human rights tribunals, who ignore the basic human right to life, who reject and tear down our traditional Christian beliefs, and shamelessly promote lifestyles leading to death, despair and darkness for the human soul. For literally thousands of years mankind has been at war with the Father of lies and we have to continually strive to remember this in order to gain victory and honour.
