Report on Day 1 Testimony of Senator Ron Johnson at the Allison Inquiry

How does one even begin to describe the massive deception and human rights violation that was the Covid-19 vaccine mandate?

I took up Dean Allison's invitation to attend his Inquiry proceedings on Covid vaccine injuries. He had made the invitation during the course of a C3RF "In Hot" video interview in late August 2026 and promised a big surprise for the first day of the proceedings. He would not divulge exactly what it was and so I was surprised when I entered the parliamentary committee room in the Wellington Building to see Senator Ron Johnson sitting in the witness chair. I later found out that this is the first time that a U.S. Senator has testified, under oath, in a parliamentary hearing. This was going to be an historic event.

Editor's note: How does one even begin to describe the massive deception and human rights violation that was the Covid-19 vaccine mandate? This was a "vaccine", more aptly called a gene therapy injection, that was insufficiently tested and based on a technology that had never previously been used in "vaccines". It had also triggered major safety signals in the inadequate animal studies available even as its use among the vaccinated human population was declared "safe and effective" by the powers that be who then mandated its use. Medical exemptions were almost impossible to obtain. Those who refused to take the vaccine could lose their jobs and many did. The unvaccinated were barred from restaurants, theatres, recreational and sports facilities, and most other public venues. There were even suggestions to bar them from grocery stores. Despite a mounting toll of serious injuries and deaths, the vaccine mandate stood. Doctors who raised questions lost their licences. Those who attributed the sudden onset of severe symptoms or illness to the vaccine they had recently received were often disbelieved and mocked.

But finally, some questions are being raised. In May 2025, U.S. Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) initiated hearings on how health authorities downplayed and hid the adverse effects of the vaccine and additional hearings have been held since. And here in Canada, the vaccine-injured and those who lost a loved one to the vaccine were finally able to tell their stories at hearings organized by Conservative MP Dean Allison, held September 8-11. To their discredit, the mainstream (government-funded) media were absent, but independent media were well-represented. Here Major Russ Cooper (Ret'd) reports on the first day of the hearings. Watch for more about those hearings in this space!

Some candid conversations

Before his testimony began, I had the opportunity to discuss vaccine injury matters with a few folks in my seating area. One was a former paramedic who, after some five years, is still trying to get compensated for a post-vaccine onset of pericarditis. He took one dose of the mRNA vaccine before coming down with complications and applied for an exemption so he wouldn't have to take a second. Unbelievably, he was told he couldn't have an exemption because he had already agreed to have one. Then, when he asked about returning to work, he was told that was not possible as he hadn't had his two mandated shots. He's been in limbo ever since trying to get recognition, let alone compensation, for his vaccine injury.

Catherine Christensen of Valour Law

I also had the opportunity to talk to an injured nurse, Kelly Shorkey, who was very active before taking her shots and now has to deal with incontinence and paralysis on her whole right side. She is slowly recovering now, years later, but remarks on how her condition has been denied, and even mocked, by those who should have been in her corner as she dealt with her problems. Shortly after talking to Kelly, I turned to my other side and began a discussion with Catherine Christensen, a barrister with Valour Law who is representing multitudes of vaccine-injured vets along with those who had lost their jobs for refusing the military's vaccine mandate. She related some disturbing information regarding the decision to go the mandated route for all Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) personnel. I noted that open-source information indicates that the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Gen. Eyre, had been advised by his legal team that mandated vaccines were a problem and should not be pursued. They were mandated regardless. Christensen then went on to explain that Gen. Fortin (vaccine rollout distribution czar) disagreed with the mandated approach along with Gen. Vance (CDS up to January 2021) and Gen. McDonald (CDS in the interim period between Vance and Eyre).

One is left to ponder the chances of three such top-level generals, all of whom were against vaccine mandates, being forced to leave their positions by virtue of age-old sexual improprieties. I left the discussion with Christensen with an offer to participate in a C3RF "In Hot" discussion. She agreed to a date in October to be organized.

Senator Johnson testimony

U.S. Senator Ron Johnson

After his swearing in, a first in Canadian parliamentary history for a U.S. Senator, I took note of the press in attendance to see a number of independents including myself. They included Dan Dicks, Vlad Tepes, Karla Treadway and Tamara Ugolini (Rebel News). I found it odd, but expected, that none of the legacy outlets could find the wherewithal to dispatch one of their reporters. On a similar note, I could see only five members of parliament in attendance that could find the time to attend the proceedings taking place in their own stomping grounds within a parliamentary committee room. The five MPs were Dean Allison, Ted Falk, Jamil Javani, Mike Dawson and Chris Lewis. The room itself was packed with observers, witnesses and independent media.

Senator Johnson's testimony was delayed due to internet glitches that, apparently, are a very rare event in Government of Canada committee rooms. Be that as it may, the Inquiry's master of ceremonies, constitutional lawyer Shawn Buckley, made it known that all members of parliament had been invited to the proceedings and thanked those who had made it. He noted that the topic of vaccine injuries was a taboo topic in Canada and basically throttled on internet services, hence the need for this particular inquiry aimed at finally hearing the voices of the vaccine-injured.

Senator Johnson was sworn in and immediately expressed remorse over the sour turn that American-Canadian relations had taken while expressing his appreciation for Canada and Canadians over the years of his involvement with them as a citizen and elected representative of Wisconsin. He went on to note that the two countries share a way of life and culture that has been passed down by the Magna Carta and was "profoundly saddened" that the Covid issue and related measures were used to subvert the freedoms and rights that both Canadians and Americans had enjoyed over the centuries. He went on to explain that such was the case as those in control of our institutions and governing authorities, absent any effective oversight, are simply human and subject to the aggrandizement of power should the opportunity present itself. This, in concert with the most powerful of control entities in the form of fear, permitted the whole world to be subsumed by a Covid mania that ultimately cost some 17 trillion dollars with the sums still mounting. This Covid economy was a "worldwide phenomenon" constructed atop a foundation of "willful blindness".

Using data and evidence derived through his own U.S. Senate "Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations", he provided charted illustrations on the usefulness of early treatment therapies that included ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine. The fact that such options were not employed, and were even mocked and censored, was explained by the simple fact that the identification of treatment that is "emergency authorized" or, in the case of Canada, ordered under interim protocols, cannot occur if there are other in-place, therapeutic options available. The mandated vaccine rollout could not have taken place if such therapies were allowed to enter the arena of early treatment. In line with this observation, the Senator noted that such early treatment protocols were in place as a matter of course with the World Health Organization (WHO) and national public health authorities in both the U.S. and Canada before the advent of the Covid crisis. These protocols were thrown out and replaced by lockdown and social distancing, "flatten the curve", measures just before Covid-19 came onto the scene.

The Senator's testimony also covered the evidence-based possibility that Covid-19 vaccines were implicated in the rise of "turbo cancers". Most importantly, he went on to note that the observance of related safety signals was being purposely obscured by the algorithms used to detect them. It was here that he brought out his findings from his 29 April 2026 report entitled, "Unmasked: How Biden Health Officials Purposely Turned a Blind Eye Toward COVID-19 Vaccine Safety Signals". From the report, Senator Johnson noted that algorithms designed to detect safety signals embedded within submitted vaccine injury reports were, in effect, masking these signals. The real problem, however, was that the FDA knew this to be the case but failed to warn the public. He stated in his report that:

"On March 26, 2021, Dr. Szarfman sent Dr. DuMouchel's data analysis to senior FDA officials showing that the new analytical method found "49 examples of extreme masking" and uncovered approximately 25 statistically significant safety signals of adverse events associated with the COVID injection, including sudden cardiac death, Bell's palsy, and pulmonary infarction (see list below). Our report goes on to detail how federal officials refused to acknowledge these revelations, or take action to warn the public. Instead, senior FDA officials repeatedly tried to stop Dr. Szarfman from continuing her work or communicating her findings outside of FDA. In September 2021, Dr. Marks informed Dr. Patrizia Cavazzoni, the then-Director of CDER, that Dr. Szarfman, who was a CDER employee, "has been asked to cease and desist" conducting her data analyses. Dr. Marks complained that Dr. Szarfman's work had "become a major distraction" and that her efforts could "create erroneous conflicts that feed in to anti-vaccination rhetoric".

In short, Senator Johnson's investigative committee had found that public health authorities had not only masked severe safety signals emanating from the Covid 19 vaccine rollout but went on to tell the public that these products were safe, effective and even recommended for the pregnant and babies as young as six months old. The good Senator closed by stating that, if anything, these "bombshell" findings need to be distributed as far and wide as possible to prevent such willful lies from being propagated by formerly trusted government authorities. His final words related the fact that such trust could only be restored through a public Covid "reckoning".
