Searching
Where happiness lies
I looked for happiness everywhere
I searched for years and years
But high-or-low where ere I’d go
I found fewer smiles than tears
Hither-and-yon from pillar-to-post
I wandered far-and-wide
Then one day I realized
I’d never looked inside
The lesson here is very clear
If you ever hope to win,
In finding happiness anywhere
You must find it first within
