Sensing Spring

CFP Poetry online

Watching the last of winter melt away as the grass turns from a sickly brown to a healthy green.

Listening to the sound of breaking ice giving way to the sound of chirping robins. Smelling the aroma of the first lilacs. Savoring the sweet taste of golden maple syrup. Feeling the soft drizzle as nature prepares to explode in all her spring-green splendor. Rejoicing in the land where to everything there is a season. William Bedford
