That Fabled House of Cards

For over 50 years the closet contingent of socialist and communists within the Democrat Party, and now the uniparty, built a Deep State that is a house of cards. Let me remind you, when I speak of the Deep State I am referring to elected and nonelected corruptocrats, those funding the corruption of the federal government, the media that perpetuates the government propaganda, and their respective minions.

For more than a half-century, the uniparty Deep State has been bloating government and illegally funding partisan political operations at taxpayer’s expense. We now know this was done, to a great extent, through USAID. No doubt we will soon find out that many of the tax-exempt non-government organizations (NGO) obtaining funding from the federal government are in reality left-leaning partisan organizations, such as the National Public Radio (NPR) and Public Broadcast System (PBS).

The Deep State politicians are screaming like a hog stuck under a gate. They are scrambling to use lawfare against DOGE and the rest of President Trump’s team. The Deep State operatives know the jig is up and these historically untouchable organizations are being exposed to the light of day and can’t stand up to this level of scrutiny. Heretofore, nobody associated with the Deep State had any interest in fixing these money laundering operations.

One major problem the Deep State has is that they built their house of cards on the very shaky foundation of debt. As I write this, the United States national debt is approaching 36.5 trillion dollars and costing nearly a trillion dollars a year in interest. No organization and no individual or family can sustain living on debt. Sooner or later the debt has to be paid down, especially when nearly 1/3 of that debt was accumulated in the last four years. If it continues, as Jefferson points out, we are doing a tragic disservice to our children and grandchildren.

The debt culture in the government Deep State must be wiped out. While I worked for the federal government 30 years ago, I saw a mindset of “grow the agency” even though the workload was decreasing. The other emphasis was to be sure to use up your budget so a bigger budget could be justified for the next funding period. That is why government is so out of control in 2025. This is the culture of today’s federal civil servants. This is the culture that must be changed to a common sense culture and a culture that is a true servant of the taxpayers.

The underlying problem with the uniparty in general and the socialist Democrat Party in particular is that honesty and virtue are forgotten values. These valueless swamp creatures are using bravado and lawfare to try to cover up their misdeeds. However, even Democrat voters are becoming embarrassed by what DOGE and the Trump teams are exposing. The Democrats who are stamping their feet and screaming the loudest have been caught with their hands in the cookie jar, and they know it,

The Biden administration (AKA Obama’s third term) and the uniparty made every effort to loot the United States treasury in the last days of the Biden administration and the last days of the 118^th Congress. The DOGE team is discovering last minute cash dumps in favor of the socialist Democrats who are still in Congress, and we know how Old Joe’s handler worked to further enrich his minion’s coffers. The Deep State is a criminal enterprise that has been caught because in the past nobody ever started examining the federal books so soon after taking office as Elon has done. Did I say caught with their hands in the cookie jar?

Over at least the last 50 years, what we now know as the uniparty has morphed the American government into the fabled house of cards that has the unstable foundation built on borrowed money. After the lessons he learned in his first term, President Trump recognized the United States of America was foundering because it is buried in debt. With the help of Barack, Joe, and Kamala during the last four years, even many Democrat votes recognized the flaws with trying to operate on borrowed money and the criminality and with the socialist Democrats way of doing government. The uniparty’s house of cards was not only about to collapse, it was about to blowup. Reality is truly a #.

Throughout his campaign, President Trump 45 promised that President Trump 47 would provide an unprecedented level of transparency like no president in modern times. President Donald J. Trump has done exactly that in three short weeks. The Deep State has made their living by keeping secrets from American citizens because they had much to hide and thought Americans couldn’t handle the truth. Trump and his MAGA minions knew that Americans could not only handle the truth but appreciate that they were trusted with the truth.

Now that the beltway bandits and other Deep State swamp creatures have been exposed for what they are and how badly they have cheated American taxpayers, the next midterm election may very well break with the tradition of the losing side gaining seats in Congress. In my humble opinion, as House and Senate members start getting identified and tied to specific waste, fraud and abuse issues, resignation may start flying, particularly if criminal actions are warranted.

Just like when the lights are turned on and cockroaches and rats scatter, transparency servers the same purpose when turned on to government. It is now up to us to be John F. Kennedy’s minutemen to make sure Congress understands what happened last November and what price will be due in November 2026. I think the Founding Fathers would approve.
