I posted this thread on social media:
'Psychologically, former Orleans Parish Sheriff Susan Hutson is a leftist White woman, an Elizabeth Warren with Black DNA.
Her epic fail tenure isn't a failure of 'Blackness' as defined by qualifications of community members. We have many professionals who could be sheriff but none who were so closely connected to far left ideology and money as she.
When she had to compete against a competent Black female opponent, past-Acting New Orleans Police Superintendent Michelle Woodfork, she lost badly. Perhaps the politburo programmed her at the University of Pennsylvania as an undergrad but she's thoroughly consumed by that worldview, to the point she sacrificed her future and the sheriff's office.
She's a frightening case of what can happen when one allows the 'Bolshevik Borg Collective' of undiluted progressivism to absorb your identity as a disguise for their identity.
Hutson is not stupid, as critics claim, despite epic errors. She's stupified by an ideology that is inherently 'anti-safety.' She infiltrated high level positions like a deep penetration operative in a Cold War spy story. Who sent her? Who backed her? How many more are sabotaging safety in majority Black areas, would be my closing question if I played a spy hunter in a political espionage saga based on this strange case.
The Trump administration needs to investigate the possibility she was sent here by forces presently unknown to intentionally undermine safety in her national career as a police monitor and ultimately, lackluster law enforcement official. Offer her a plea deal if she confesses on who her handlers were and what the real agenda was behind destroying a corrections agency.
This case is infinitely bigger than individual incompetence. She was the smiling face of something very sinister that stayed in the shadows behind her. Unlike 'Teedy,' the urban nickname for federally indicted former New Orleans chief executive Latoya Cantrell, who was a hedonistic 'ghettoist' living her 'best life' as mayor, Hutson is a leftist who used being sheriff to do the worst to a local criminal justice system that already doesn't properly manage violent traitors to community safety.
She fired dutiful male deputies, stalled sentencing by dragging her feet on court security and let 'residents' as she called inmates, run the jail to the point that a historic escape happened.
To me at least, this was by design. She methodically worked to nullify the local criminal justice system by shielding inmates from accountability from staff and even prosecutors and judges by denying transport to court and deputies to secure jurists, appearances and trials.
This wasn't mere individual incompetence. It was intentional ideologically driven sabotage hidden behind the cover story of being a well meaning leftist female activist who was beset by a mean, misogynistic, homophobic, racist system. Two things can be true simultaneously.
It wasn't White racism alone that toppled her though it'll be cited in her defense.
It was White radicalism that told her to destroy an already struggling sheriff's office which led to her ultimate undoing.
I think she honestly thought leftist 'girl boss power' vibes would disguise her deadly serious mission. State authorities saw through the calculated charade-including alleged criminality-and charged her with thirty felony counts.
To her cold-blooded credit, she played Black activists and community angst with law enforcement like a fiddle and was rewarded with lengthy tenure as New Orleans Independent Police Monitor and one term as Sheriff once Marlin Gusman, the moderate incumbent she beat, was sufficiently smeared in voters minds.'
That concludes some initial thoughts on the strange case of former Orleans Parish Sheriff Susan Hutson at its onset.
