After almost 60 years as a member, the UAE (OPEC’s 3rd biggest producer) is exiting to pump more oil on its own — aiming for close to its full 5 million barrels per day capacity, without the cartel’s limits

It seriously weakens OPEC+’s power to control global oil supply and prices. More UAE oil flooding the market could push prices down, while showing deep cracks in the cartel at a time when Middle East tensions are already high. This changes the whole game for energy markets.
