This Too Shall Pass

I find myself troubled by the number of my friends and fellow citizens who are not terribly concerned about what is going on in the United States, Canada, and the rest of “western civilization.” Somehow, as bad as the evidence is, they seem to think that America has faced worse and the current situation will sort itself out in time. In other words, they think “This too shall pass.”

It seems that there is a complete misinterpretation of America’s situation today as opposed to the various situations America faced in the past. Always in the past, the overwhelming majority of Americans were pro-American. Nearly 100% of the American federal government employees were committed to preserving and protecting the United States Constitution. Historically, America has done a wonderful job of self-correcting when it veered off course.

Alex de Tocqueville pointed out that our forefathers created a great nation because it was a good nation. In my mind, our nation remains good, in spite of the fact that our federal government and too many local governments are anything but good. However, if the good people remain passive and silent, then America will inevitably cease to be good.

Sadly, there has been a paradigm shift that most Americans have either not noticed or have chosen not to acknowledge. Where once Americans could rely upon federal employees to honor their oath of office and protect and defend the Constitution, today’s federal employees protect and defend their job and organizations and totally ignore the provisions of the United States Constitution. In the federal employee ranks, the me, me, me generations have replaced the we are more important than me generations. The America our Founding Fathers gave us cannot survive this new paradigm, as was pointed out repeatedly by the writings of our Founding Fathers.

The same affliction has infected many state and local governments. One only needs to look at the cities and states where lawlessness reigns and chaos occurs daily. Sadly, local governments all over the nation are leaning toward the policies of these failed governments. These locations, are adopting ideologies that will assure the collapse of America, if allowed to continue.

Too many Americans, both Democrat and Republican, are married to the historic ideology of their parent’s version of the legacy political parties. These Americans have failed to assess for themselves the current ideology of their respective parties. This ignorance has given the United States the tyrannical, repressive, federal government America has today. What the Republican and Democratic parties were in the past has little resemblance to the money-driven uniparty they have become today. This political paradigm shift is just as bad as the paradigm shift from a “we” to “me” mindset. Neither the politicians nor the Deep State care one wit about We the People.

“This too shall pass” is a mind-set that must be abandoned. What America has for a government in 2024 will not pass without an aggressive effort to radically change our evil lawless government and return it to a law-abiding government. The Founding Fathers pleaded with us to be watchful, and we have failed them. America’s broken governments can be fixed starting on November 5, 2024.

Caution #1: Don’t let the spectacularly positive success of the Republican Convention lead you astray. Don’t let down your guard. Over confidence can kill any effort as over-confidence killed Hillary Clinton’s dream of being President of the United States in 2016. We must stay focused.

Caution #2: Granted, the criminal Biden is now out and for the present. it appears “a rock,” in the persona of Kamala, is taking all the headlines. It ain’t over till the fat lady sings. And the fat lady won’t sing until a formal Democrat candidate is in place. Much of the “ta-doo” over what happened this weekend is a distraction and a cover from the Trump assassination attempt. We must stay focused.
