Tonight I Dispersed A Crowd of Loud Loiterers and Trespassers’

New Orleans—Here’s a brief snippet of besieged life in a ‘blue', as in a Democratic establishment-controlled city.

I just posted this on X tonight:

'8:55 p.m.: Dispersed this crowd of weed smoking, loud loiterers and trespassers from nearby nuisance bar who left drink cups on my porch and instruments piled up blocking my stairs.

Called 911 beforehand. Units arrived minutes later.

The bar bouncer came and removed cups from my porch while another club person apologized.

A police report will be written.

I refuse to be treated like a hostage within my home.
