Trooper shot, 2 others hurt in central Phoenix, sources say

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — One Department of Public Safety trooper was shot and two others were hurt following a shooting in central Phoenix Thursday evening, sources tell Arizona’s Family.

It happened just after 7 p.m. at the A & F Trailer and RV park near 24th Avenue and Indian School Road, just east of Interstate 17.

DPS said SWAT troopers were serving a “high-risk search warrant” when the trooper-involved shooting occurred. Officials only confirmed that “at least one trooper was injured in the shooting.”
