I have made my decision on who I will nominate for The United States Supreme Court. It will be announced live on Tuesday at 8:00 P.M. (W.H.)

These two appellate jurists got confirmed by the Senate with no dissenting votes. The Senate didn’t even bother with a roll-call vote for Gorsuch but used unanimous consent instead, and Hardiman got confirmed 95-0.Now that they're being nominated by Trump, Democrats will no doubt pretend they're a pair of fascist monsters who seek to resurrect Hitler and rebuild the Third Reich in the middle of Central Park. Previously, it seemed that Gorsuch was the frontrunner, but now rumor has it the smart money is on Hardiman. That (if you believe the scuttlebutt) may be unfortunate. It's hard to predict how a judge will rule once he's sitting on the SCOTUS bench, but he has a reputation as being more in the mold of Kennedy than Scalia. We'll know tomorrow...
