Two barbers save child from running into traffic in East Hartford

EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Two heroic barbers came to the rescue last week after a child almost ran into traffic in East Hartford.

According to police, the two barbers Osvaldo Lugo and Rafael Santana of Looks Sharp Barbershop were cutting customers’ hair when they saw a child running in the street.

The child was running toward a busy intersection of cars on Main Street. The two men ran outside the store and chased after the kid, scooping him up just before he reached the intersection. -- More...
