Unhinged Antisemite Lobster Finds Herself In Hot Water

These lunatics never disappoint when madness is on the menu. A controversial art installation featuring a mock street sign reading, “F-ck Israel Ln” and a “Hamas Lover” poster was displayed on taxpayer-funded Governors Island during a supposed weekend “family” Halloween event.

The display was created by a truly monstrous individual, Rebecca Goyette, and was an unauthorized exhibit of pure vile. Among other things, according to the New York Post, it included posters that said it’s “beyond the pale” for Israel to exist and lauded US-designated terror groups. It also included a drawing of a KKK hoodie with the Israeli and American flags.

Another poster board had a fist in the air with the Palestinian colors of red, green, white, and black painted across it with the text, “Free Palestine” and “Abolish Israel.”

Ironically, on the outside of the cabin that housed the disgusting display, a sign read “Revive Humanity Now.”

The putrid display was located in Building 11 of the complex, which is seasonally used by Swale, a non-profit focused on food forests that participates in the Trust for Governor Island’s artist-in-residence program.

The Trust for Governors Island and Swale both condemned the exhibit in a statement to The Post, placing the blame on the artist Rebecca Goyette, who they claimed was not part of the group’s official programming.

Swale asserted that Goyette had been “invited into an empty back studio by a current artist-in-residence during the seasonal wind-down,” and noted that she did not have authorization to display her work.

Swale stated:

“We view this as a deliberate and malicious act by the artist. Like many visitors, members of our team also encountered this display and were personally affected by its content and conduct. We share the community’s distress and stand with those who were harmed.”

“It remains our duty to protect visitors and uphold standards in our spaces.”

Olson mentioned that she believed Goyette’s work would focus on the struggles of Palestinian children in Gaza during the conflict between Hamas and Israel. She communicated this expectation to Swale, rather than the offensive material that ultimately appeared in the space.

“I have supported Rebecca and her activism, but she didn’t respect that this was a family event.”

Olson stated that Kim Darling, a coordinator for the Swale house, saw at least the “F–k Israel” sign, which Darling strongly denied in an email.

Darling explained, “What I witnessed on Friday were drawings of her and her partner. At no time did I witness anything like what I’ve seen in the pictures.”

Olson admitted she saw the Israel sign herself, but didn’t think much of it beyond the fact that it was free speech and didn’t realize the outrage that would follow.

The Governors Island’s trust called the display “completely unacceptable.”

“The Trust for Governors Island has no tolerance for hate speech or discrimination of any kind.”

Goyette has expressed her support for the Palestinian people through social media posts, where she shared that she was virtually falling in love with a dentist in Gaza as they exchanged “vampire dentist jokes like, ‘I’m gonna bite you.’”

Olson claimed that while she was there on Sunday, anger began to build with spectators at Goyette’s exhibit. She asked Goyette to take down the installation, but she initially refused.

“It was her choice to stay, but it’s being made to sound like I brought her in unauthorized, and that is not at all the case.”

New York City has seen a significant increase in hate targeting Israelis and Jewish New Yorkers since the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, which triggered a war in Gaza.

Governors Island’s grounds and activities are run by private funds and taxpayer money across different levels of government. However, City officials were quick to dismiss the idea that any taxpayer funds were used for the building or artwork.

The controversial collection of artwork faced intense criticism from New York Jewish leaders and Mayor Eric Adams, who said in a statement.

“The Adams administration has zero tolerance for antisemitism or any other form of hate speech, especially the support of a terrorist organization or calls for the destruction of an entire people. The exhibit displayed at an art house on Governors Island over the weekend was sickening and deeply offensive to the Jewish community and to any New Yorker opposed to hate.”

Dov Hikind, founder of Americans Against Antisemitism, said hatred against Jews is “out of control.

“This rampant antisemitism is going on in places we never imagined.”

A statement that Brooklyn state Assemblyman Kalman Yeger agreed with. In a statement that referenced Zohan Mamdani’s hateful stance toward Israel, he said.

“Sadly, this is another example of the normalization of Jew Hatred, the Mamdani era is festering in New York.”

Rebecca Goyette is not only a practicing antisemite, but she is also a deeply disturbed individual. This is not the first time this lunatic has flown off the rails. At one point, she called herself “Lobsta Girl” and performed “Lobsta Porn.”

In her mind, this depravity explores human sexual fantasy (and sexual violence) in light of the love lives of lobsters and from a feminist perspective.

In the short film *Masshole Love* (2013), set primarily in Provincetown, Massachusetts—a beloved coastal destination for artists and the LGBT+ community—Goyette portrays Lobsta Blue. This character confronts her past history of sexual abuse by dedicating her life to erotic performance art while dressed in a bright blue lobster costume.

In this perversion, as in others, Goyette offers a ragged mix of burlesque, street theatre, psycho-sexual therapy, and “lobstasexcitation,” in order to indoctrinate audience members to try and discover their own “marine sexual identities” within the deep blue sea, which she imagines as a polymorphously perverse space or a queer universe.

This is a sick, hateful, and perverse individual who wants to believe she is something that she isn’t and that she can get away with anything that crosses her disturbed mind.

Goyette is no more an artist than she is a lobster. She hides behind that acceptable title in order to promote the loathing that exudes from her body like sweat.

Still, if this deranged, weirdo likes to envision herself as a crustacean, in a sea of queer individuals, so be it, but never allow her to display her venom again publicly.
