VIDEO: Trump and Rubio go at it on health care

Submitted largely without comment, except that if I'm going to discuss anything that happens in a debate, it's going to be an attempt to talk about something substantive rather than the yelling: Both a defense and a criticism of Trump. First the defense: When he keeps saying "there will be lots of plans," I think what he means is that the government goes largely hands-off, and the "lots of plans" represents the market competition.

Now the criticism: Getting from ObamaCare to that is going to require a fairly elaborate legislative strategy, and that's what Rubio is trying to pin him down on. Sure, fine, but how do you get to it, Donald? Trump either hasn't thought about it or doesn't feel prepared to discuss it. I guess you can draw your own conclusions about the debate in general. I have little interest in assigning "grades" or assessing who was assertive, prepared, convincing, biting, etc. None of this has anything to do with who would make a good president, which is why I've said all along that obsessing over these debates is a waste of everyone's time. But you have fun.
