What’s In A Name, If You’re An ASCIS Officer A Lot

There is an outcry by many Americans that far too many immigrants who have no intention of assimilating into American society are either being elected to public office or being allowed to assume a position of power or control.

The antisemitic statements made by Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar, who has pledged her allegiance to Somalia over the United States on multiple occasions, are concerning. Additionally, New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani's and others' open preference for Sharia law poses a threat to American traditions and Western culture. These attitudes and influences need to be addressed and stopped.

Now, two Nigerian nationals are currently facing charges related to an alleged bribery scheme. One is a former senior official with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and he is accused, along with his accomplice, of accepting nearly $960,000 in exchange for providing favors in processing immigration benefit applications, including citizenship cases.

Former official Lukman Owolabi Ganiyu and his financial accomplice, Adeniyi Akeem Somoye, were arrested on federal charges in connection with an alleged multi-year scheme. They are accused of receiving illegal gratuities in exchange for manipulating and expediting immigration applications, as stated by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Texas. Both were arrested on September 2^nd.

The federal criminal complaint filed on August 31^st charges the duo with conspiracy to receive illegal gratuities as public officials

U.S. Attorney Ryan Raybould stated:

“Selling immigration benefits for cash is a blatant abuse of public trust. When a federal official puts a price tag on lawful status, we will intervene immediately. Public corruption will never be tolerated in the Northern District of Texas.”

According to FBI Dallas Special Agent in Charge R. Joseph Rothrock.

“The alleged manipulation of immigration decisions for personal gain undermines the integrity of a process essential to our national security. The FBI and our law enforcement partners remain committed to holding accountable anyone who abuses their position of trust.”

According to the complaint, from December 2019 to March 2026, Ganiyu used his official position to approve immigration applications in exchange for money. This included Forms I-130 (Petition for Alien Relative), I-485 (Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status), I-751 (Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence), and N-400 (Application for Naturalization). Investigators allege that Ganiyu bypassed required interviews, supervisory reviews, jurisdictional limitations, background checks, and standard USCIS processing protocols, unlawfully expediting approvals for applicants, many of whom were ineligible under federal law.

During the investigation, authorities discovered extensive WhatsApp communications between Ganiyu, Somoye, and multiple applicants whose immigration cases they managed. This included thousands of messages and hundreds of calls during the charged period.

Their initial court appearances took place on September 2^nd before a U.S. Magistrate Judge. Each defendant faces a maximum of five years in federal prison and a fine of up to $250,000.

Which, IMHO, isn’t even close to being enough.

How long are we going to allow this invasion of immigrants who are only here to take advantage of the system and, in the process, attempt to destroy it?

There had to have been red flags when these two scumbags were hired. They manipulated the system from December of 2019 until March of this year, and that is flat-out unacceptable.

Five years is the maximum sentence they can receive, which means some bleeding-heart judge will likely suspend the sentence and probably waive the fine.

It’s a well-known fact that you can’t be a doormat unless you lay down. So, let's stand up to these invaders instead of welcoming them without question; make it clear that they either enter legally, or they don’t enter at all. Then, if they do enter LEGALLY, they need to understand that rules and laws apply to everyone and will be enforced to the full extent of United States law …. PERIOD!
