White Deputy's Death Reveals Ugly Black Truth

Last week, Jerman Neveaux‬, a 19 year old Black man shot and killed David Michel, a White Jefferson Parish sheriffs deputy. Jefferson Parish is minutes away from New Orleans and light years different in terms of law enforcement and generally, civility. This crime in its infancy already reveals ugly Black truths about a sadly sizable segment who excuse and thus enable violent criminals I label " chocolate Klansmen. " The fact that the shooter got a fractured eye socket and other injuries during his arrest cancels the gun charge for which he was on probation; text messages stating he wanted to rob someone and a confession that he shot the deputy three times in the back because he didn't want to go to jail.

The ugly Black truth emerging yet again is many so-called police reformers actually support thugs instead of supporting public safety or community standards. Is it any wonder this 19 year old represents state-of-the-art aggression launched from the Urban Apocalypse, an ugly Black truth experienced by cops and citizens on a daily basis? A better Black truth is we who support the police and law and order can't afford to be silent in these tragic times.
