Why Democrats Never Lie

For many years, a viral infection has been spreading across the world. This virus often takes years before serious symptoms show up, but once it has taken hold, it is almost incurable. Like so many other diseases, it propagates most often in high population areas, such as cities. People in more rural areas are less likely to be infected, since infection seems to require close and frequent contact with other infected individuals.

The symptoms are subtle as the disease is primarily one of the mind. The faculties of logic and reason are affected adversely, causing the victim to be slowly divorced from accurate assessment of reality. In particular, the victim comes to believe that their thoughts and words create a form of reality; that by sufficient agreement among their fellow sufferers, they can shape the world into whatever form they wish.

Since most of these sufferers live in environments that are highly artificial and the product of human effort, this provides confirmation of a sort for their delusional and magical thinking. In cities, almost everything around is a result of human imagination and artifice. Even such plants as may be found are constrained to human defined planters in specified locations. Weather is one of the few things to intrude on that artificiality, and even that is often limited in its effects.

Indeed, the victim often suffers from the delusion that their modes of thought reflect a superior awareness. Affected individuals believe they have an intuitive sense of Truth so that anything they believe is true and correct. Furthermore, they also believe that while reality is personal and unique to each individual, agreement between individuals can define a shared reality. The idea that there is an objective reality that exists independently of their thoughts and feelings is foreign and rejected.

As a consequence of these beliefs, they are contemptuous of those who disagree with them, and especially with those who believe that there are objective facts that exist regardless of how one feels about them. This objective reality that forms the basis for shared experiences, and which is the foundation for truth, is automatically dismissed by the infected. Their superior ability to know what is true sets them above those who must rely on the belief in an external non-existent objective reality for guidance. At least that is their belief.

As with any viral disease, there are certain conditions necessary to become infected, and which determine the severity of the infection. These include how frequently a person is exposed to the virus, the amount of virus transferred in each exposure, and how effective the individual's immune system is at combating the virus.

Universities and colleges are major centers of infection because they provide environments most conducive to infection. Individuals in attendance at such institutions are usually exposed daily to the virus, and often even multiple times a day. Frequently, the exposure is intense with substantial quantities of virus transferred over periods lasting up to an hour or more during each encounter.

The victims are often young and have immature immune systems incapable of identifying the infectious agent and dealing with it effectively. The normally strong immune response that is obtained through repeated exposure to objective reality is lacking in these immature victims.

Those infected individuals may appear to be normal at most times. Symptoms can be observed, though, in their positions in regard to certain common topics. For example, they often express the belief that Socialism is a superior way to structure an economy and a government that ensures prosperity for all. They may also believe that biological sex is a matter of opinion, and can be altered by simple declaration.

Often they will express the idea that all disparities in economic or social position are solely the result of racism and oppression. Many also strongly believe that a rare gas is the principal cause of changes in climate. These, and other similar beliefs contrary to objective reality, are incontestable symptoms of the presence of this viral infection.

Should an infected individual be made aware of their infected state, the afflicted person will often respond with expressions of rage, humiliation, intolerance, and contempt for the challenger. Care must be taken as infected individuals are particularly intolerant of disagreement, and are often prone to violence against those who disagree with them. 

Unfortunately, particularly in the field of government, identification of infected individuals often occurs too late to prevent their employment

\Violent responses have even extended to use of arson, explosives, and firearms in their attempts to remove those with whom they disagree. Extended confrontation of victims expressing viral induced rage is not encouraged.

If detected early, a cure may sometimes be effected by exposure of the individual to suitable environments containing frequent encounters with objective reality. For some, a period of military service will suffice, as will relocation from an urban area to a more rural environment.

Advanced cases, though, are resistant to treatment, and must simply be avoided and isolated from any situation where a solid understanding of reality is necessary. Engineering, medicine, aviation, and especially government should be particularly protected due to the harm that can result from actions and decisions that are not reality based.

Unfortunately, particularly in the field of government, identification of infected individuals often occurs too late to prevent their employment. In such circumstances, removal is often difficult and time consuming, but essential to the health of the society.

Afflicted individuals, due to their need for consensus and a need to avoid disagreement with their delusions, will often surround themselves with other infected people. Within these groups, they will find support for the idea that reality is created by agreement, and that the merit of an idea is simple plausibility, with no need, or even reason, to test against an objective reality—a reality that they deny even exists.

These groups often identify themselves by a common name so that other infected individuals can easily find and join them. They will adopt such names as Progressives, Socialists, Marxists, The Left, or simply Democrats. They all share a common belief that whatever they believe is Truth, and that any disagreement with their beliefs is automatically false.

As a result, whenever they make a statement pronouncing a position at variance with objective reality, they consider that they have "debunked" or disproven that contradictory position. To them, a fact is simply a point raised in support of an argument, and has nothing to do with a non-existent external reality.

A lie is something that is intentionally contrary to truth. If objective reality were to exist, it would show many of their beliefs to be objectively false. Therefore, objective reality must not exist. No higher authority exists to contradict them, and even if there were one, it would have to be declared non-existent, by their definition.

Because they firmly believe that their positions are absolutely True, and that every statement they make is Truth, Democrats can never lie.
