You know what? Good for the Wyoming House of Representatives for passing a bill to create a task force to prepare for catastrophic events both natural and man-made. The sponsor acknowledges that he doesn't see immediate danger
but recognizes the weakness in the economy and feels it would be irresponsible not to have an action plan to protect the Wyoming economy which is healthier than the country in general.
Things that will be looked at are; crisis management in case of an economic collapse, the feasibility of state currency, how to raise a state militia, how to institute a state military draft and other state based initiatives. He said that to bury our heads in the sand would be foolhardy and I concur. There are too many signals of future weakness and unrest to not be prepared, as a family, as a neighborhood, as a community, as a county and as a state.
There are many good websites with ideas on how to begin the process of preparing. In doing so, much of the anxiety of these unsettled times will be laid to rest. We should all be following Wyoming's lead.
