You’ve Got to be Kidding Me; Right? #13

The Port of Portland appears to have extremely low expectations of the Oregonian traveling public. In the men’s room of the Portland International Airport, and I presume every Port of Portland facility, a sign is posted above each urinal: “Do not drink from the urinals.” What’s going on in Portland? Has there been a rash of people sucking up water from the urinals in men’s restrooms? But then again, all restrooms are open to anyone comfortable using them, and all have tampon machines in them. But seriously, drinking from the urinals!

Thank you, Port of Portland, for heading off an epidemic of people using urinals for drinking fountains. I’m certain the people of Oregon appreciate the preventative signage, no matter what it cost.
