Obama: a 21st century Nero?

Myth has it that Roman Emperor Nero (15 December 37 AD--9 June 68 AD), fiddled while Rome burned. Historians tell us this story isn't 100 percent true. Violins didn't technically exist in 64 AD, but Nero--and the six-day Great Fire of Rome that destroyed approximately three-quarters of the city--were real enough.

Change will be real when Cubans can pay to see the Rolling Stones

It was awfully nice of the Rolling Stones to go to Havana this past weekend and play a concert for free. I'm sure the longtime victims of communism appreciated the gift - especially since exposure to any media that would have made them aware the Rolling Stones exist put them in jeopardy of prison under the Castro regime that Barack Obama thinks we can learn from about civil rights.

Boko Haram, the Nigerian Islamic extremist group, has killed more people in the name of jihad than the Islamic State (ISIS), according to the findings of a new report. Since 2000, when twelve Northern Nigerian states began implementing or more fully enforcing Islamic law, or Sharia, "between 9,000 to 11,500 Christians" have been killed. This is "a conservative estimate."

Trump vs. the New World Order

The enemies of freedom today saturate our culture like lunacy pervades an asylum. We as Americans suffer inexcusable tax tyranny and relentless Federal Reserve inflation of our currency. Our schools disguise socialism as Americanism to our children. Our pundits succumb to the evil of moral relativism in effusive editorials. Our spineless politicians capitulate at every opportunity to Washington's march toward World Government instead of doing their honorable duty, which is to defend the Constitution, defend the Founders, defend American sovereignty.

Bernie trounces Hillary in Alaska, Hawaii and Washington

That wild-eyed socialist who detests capitalism and wants to be president (not to be confused with the one who currently is president) won three more Democrat caucus states over the weekend - once again serving as a speed bump in Hillary Clinton's journey to her inevitable coronation. And once again we're reminded that Hillary is such an unappealing candidate that Democrat voters in quite a few states would rather back a guy who has praised the Castros and the Nicaraguan Sandinistas.
