Trump delivered his much anticipated, 10-point immigration policy speech on the last day of August, a little more than nine weeks out from Tuesday, November 8, 2016. Given his triumphant and unexpected summit meeting, earlier the same day, with Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto, one would expect the content of Trump's immigration speech to dominate the American news cycle for days to come.
To an over-flowing, passionate crowd in Phoenix, including many who have themselves been the victims of violent crimes committed by illegal aliens, Trump ticked off a litany of financial, crime and demographic statistics.
