A Short History of Climate Change

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. When exactly did God create the planet earth? I don’t know. Nobody alive today on the planet earth knows either, because they were not there for that event. God knows, but He has only left various clues which man has been trying to decipher for centuries. Some of those clues seem to indicate that there has been life on the planet for as long as 4.5 billion years.

great article and thank you for the "imperfect man scenario. People who believe in the 6500 year old earth have so many blinders on since they misinterpret the "Day i like a thousand years," verse in the bible. God's evidence he left us seems to differ than their belief in time yet just less than 4000 years ago time was not even broken down into minutes hours or seconds.
In God's omnipresence time is not a factor taken in to how long it really took him to create what is all around us and what he did create is not static but dynamic so it is ever changing, something God is not.

Why are we spending trillions of dollars destroying America thinking we can change the climate of our planet while China is building 3X more coal-fired power plants as the rest of the world combined? We are told that we must reduce emissions, even from cows, when one moderate volcanic eruption can negate any environmental progress by several decades. And there are 1,350 active volcanoes in the world with probably 20 erupting as I write this. Not to mention forest fires, the Nord Stream pipeline leaks, the pollution to manufacture EV batteries etc., basically we are pissing against the wind. The USA CO2 reduction policies will not make a dent on worldwide CO2 but will destroy America while China forges ahead with inexpensive energy.

Should we cease all environmental protection? Of course not. We need to apply priorities and common sense to know what we can do and what we cannot. Leftists see no human limits because they are their own gods

How do we calculate the age of the planet?
By examining the diagrams created by Archaeologists, usually posted in Museums & Textbooks . . . but exist nowhere on the planet. They use the Fossils to date the Rocks, and then use the Rocks to date the Fossils. Circular reasoning . . .

One day we may get a chance to ask the Creator . . .

You know about this evil carbon dioxide that we are trying to suppress - it's that vital chemical compound that every plant requires to live and grow and to synthesize into oxygen for us humans and all animal life.

I know....it's very disheartening to realize that all of the carbon emission savings you have accomplished while suffering the inconvenience and expense of driving Prius hybrids, buying fabric grocery bags, sitting up till midnight to finish your kids "The Green Revolution" science project, throwing out all of your non-green cleaning supplies, using only two squares of toilet paper, putting a brick in your toilet tank reservoir, selling your SUV and speedboat, vacationing at home instead of abroad, nearly getting hit every day on your bicycle, replacing all of your 50 cent light bulbs with $10.00 light bulbs.....well, all of those things you have done have all gone down the tubes in just four days!

The volcanic ash emitted into the Earth's atmosphere in just four days - yes, FOUR DAYS - by that volcano in Iceland has totally erased every single effort you have made to reduce the evil beast, carbon. And there are around 200 active volcanoes on the planet spewing out this crud at any one time - EVERY DAY.

I don't really want to rain on your parade too much, but I should mention that when the volcano Mt Pinatubo erupted in the Philippines in 1991, it spewed out more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere than the entire human race had emitted in all its years on earth.

Yes, folks, Mt Pinatubo was active for over one year - think about it.

Of course, I shouldn't spoil this 'touchy-feely tree-hugging' moment and mention the effect of natural solar and cosmic activity, and the well-recognized 800-year global heating and cooling cycle, which keeps happening despite our completely insignificant efforts to affect climate change.

And I do wish I had a silver lining to this volcanic ash cloud, but the fact of the matter is that the wildfire season across the western USA and Australia this year alone will negate your efforts to reduce carbon in our world for the next two to three years. And it happens every year.

You had me laughing, good article, thank you.
Here is another conundrum that for a short time puzzled me and then had me laughing as I should have known this and had never thought about it. What language did Jesus speak in? Old Hebrew, one of the Arabic languages. In the Arabic language including old Hebrew language God was called Allah, three different spellings but the same name for our Lord God.
So many things change our thoughts on things? Always questions. Now I wonder what the Romans called God?
Between China and India new coal fired plants are being built and then started, every week a new one, I read.

God's Creation of the Earth is beautifully introduced in a video on youtube.( If it's still up) called "The Fine Tuning of the Universe." It shows that the evidence is overwhelming that an Intelligent Designer created the Universe and created narrow life-permitting windows for human life. Obviously, such an awesome Being would not be challenged to turn down the temp. a mite!
