MISSISSAUGA – Porsche AG is doubling the driving fun to be had from the new 911 Carrera models by introducing cabriolet versions to go with the recently-launched coupe.
Like the coupe, the 911 cabriolet features innovative aluminum-steel construction, along with an all-new convertible top design, which preserves the typically sleek 911 roof line. Intelligent lightweight design, including the use of magnesium, ensures less weight and more sportiness, lower fuel consumption and greater comfort. As with the hardtop 911 models, Porsche has managed to reverse the weight spiral and make the new open-top models significantly lighter than their predecessors.
